How is the weather in this place?

The Andes region, which has high altitudes, around 3500 meters above sea level, the daily average temperature is of 10 ° C (50 ° F), during the night it can change to a freezing stage. If you are flying directly to Cusco (3250m) you should consider  several days to be able to adjust to the high altitudes. 
The dry season at the mountain and plateau is from April to November. The rainy season is from December to March. On the coastal dry line, the hottest months of the summer are from December to March, in some parts of the coastal line there’s no rain, and in case it rains, it is from April to November.

What type of accommodation does this adventure include?

Lodging will be in 3 and 4 star hotels. In Cusco the hotels where you could stay are the Monasterio San Pedro, or Ayni Cusco Hotel; while in Aguas Calientes you will stay at the 4-star Golden Sunrise Machu Picchu.
0 to 2 years will share bed with parents.
If there are 2 people - the room can be in two single beds or with a double bed.
If there are 3 people - the room is with three single beds.
If there are 4 people - they have 2 rooms, each one can be with single beds or with a double bed.
If there are 5 people - they have 2 rooms, one with double occupancy and the other with three single beds.
If there are 6 people - they have 2 rooms, in double occupancy each one and each one can be in single beds or with a double bed.
Or it can be two triple occupancy rooms, with three single beds.
When making the reservation you must specify which type of room you prefer.

The recommended minimum age to carry out this experience is 8 years old. Despite there being no minimum age to carry out this experience, it is not recommended for children between 0 and 7 years old.
All minors must be accompanied by 2 responsible adults (+18 years) at all times and share a room.
Check the "Extras" section to find out the charge for children under 11 years of age at the time of travel.
Children under 12 years of age and older have a regular rate.
The maximum recommended age for this experience is for people over 60 who are in good physical condition (do not suffer from heart or respiratory problems).
People over 60 years of age can carry out this experience at their own risk.

The power frequency  is of 220V, 60HZ AC, the power outlets take rounded tipped chargers , but some places have dual voltage power outlets that take flat tipped chargers.

You need to be in good physical condition as you will be doing hiking activities and doing a lot of walking most of the time. NOTE: From Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu Citadel the level of physical effort for this day is medium. From Mollepata to Laguna Humantay the level of physical effort for this day is high. While for the Mountain of 7 colors the level of physical effort for this day is medium - high.

We recommend you to take a rain jacket/rain poncho, warm jacket, polo shirts, comfy pants, and a hat. We also suggest to take sun lotion (fps 35+) and insect repellent.

Huayna Picchu Mountain (Waynapicchu), is a hill better known as "young mountain". It has a very steep and narrow path, which includes several sections with steps. The ascent varies between 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the physical condition of each person. The imposing beauty of this natural attraction makes it a must-see for those who want an unforgettable memory of the Machu Picchu Citadel (archeological zone). The path is zigzag, its stairs are almost vertical with dizzying cliffs; and access is a bit difficult. It is not recommended for people who have heart problems, knee problems, asthma. Suitable for ages 12 and up.

It is very important that you respect this schedule so that there is no problem with the entrance to Ciudadela. Once you have your tickets, you must share them through the reservation chat so that the operator can take them into consideration.

Logistics: First is the guided visit to Machu Picchu Citadel / Llaqta / Archaeological Center in the company of the guide and with the group, then when this activity ends, the guide will show you the way to the entrance gate to Huayna Picchu, and later you can ascend on your own.

Machu Picchu Mountain, is an elevated hill also called "old mountain" that thanks to its hiking route of almost 2 kilometers of steep Inca trails you can appreciate all the beauty of the geography that surrounds the Citadel Machu Picchu (archeological zone). Getting to the top and back takes an average of 3 to 4 hours depending on the physical condition of each person. It can be done as a family so it is not necessary to reach the top to appreciate the unusual beauty of the place.

Machu Picchu Mountain + Circuit 3, with a schedule of 10AM (currently this schedule is not available).
Today the entrance tickets are limited and there are only 2 times available (7am and 8am) which do not tie with the entrance to Machu Picchu Citadel (visit and entrance included in the tour)
In case you want to do the Machu Picchu Mountain at one of these two times, you can do it but it is not recommended, doing the Machu Picchu Mountain first and then Ciudadela turns out to be very exhausting, unless you are in very good physical condition. In addition to this, you should consider that the guided visit to the Citadel will no longer be done in a group but will be with a private guide, with an additional charge per person.
In case of acquiring these tickets considering the recommendation previously made, you must share them through the reservation chat so that the operator takes it into consideration.
NOTE: If you choose to buy this ticket you will not be able to add the entrance to Huayna Picchu.
