  • Day 1 Arrival to Cusco

      A tour representative awaits for you to greet you upon your arrival to Cusco and take you to your hotel. This is a free day that helps you to get used to the alttitude of the city, we suggest arriving on an early flight.

      Meals: Not included Accommodation: San Pedro Monastery, or Ayni Cusco Hotel or similar in Cusco - Private double room (single or double bed)

  • Day 2 Cusco- Chinchero- Maras- Moray- Train to Aguas Calientes
    • 8:00 am - 10:45 am

      Cusco- Chinchero- Maras- Moray- Train to Aguas Calientes

      This day you start off with a yummy breakfast and take the tour towards Chinchero, where you see Inca buildings and the small colonial church; you also participate in the elaboration of Andean textiles. Next, you visit the famous circular terraces of Moray. From here the tour goes on to the Saltmines of Maras, which has more than 3000 salt mines, this salt was used by the Incas for human consumption. Finally you head to Ollantaytambo to take the train (Expedition by Peru Rail or Voyager by Inca Rail) to Aguas Calientes.

  • Day 3 Aguas Calientes- Machu Picchu- Aguas Calientes- Train to Cusco
    • 5:00 am - 11:00 am

      Aguas Calientes- Machu Picchu- Aguas Calientes- Train to Cusco

      You wake up very early, have breakfast, and take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. The tour guide gives you a detailed explanation on this historical sanctuary; when the tour is done you go back to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and later board the train to Ollantaytambo. From here you finally go back to your hotel in Cusco to rest.
