Due to the large size of this museum and its huge number of works of art we suggest you take a guided tour that will allow you to see some of the most important works of its interior. Our selective tour will take you from the medieval Louvre, Egyptian Sphinx, Greco-Roman sculptures, including the famous Venus del Milo, summer apartments of Anne of Austria and Cardinal Mazarin, until you reach the Victory of Samothrace. We will also visit the part of western painting, the primitive Italians: Cimabue and Ghiotto, following by the Grande Galerรญa where at this moment we can see "The Virgin of the Rocks" by Leonardo da Vinci. Next, we will admire "The Wedding of Cana" by Verones and the most famous painting of the "La Gioconda" museum. Another part of the museum that we will have the opportunity to see with our guide is the Gallery of French Painting, where we can see "The raft of the jellyfish" by Gericault, "Liberty guiding the people" by Delacroix, "The coronation of Napoleon " from David. Next, we will go to the Apollo Gallery where we will find goldsmith objects and some of "the Crown Jewels", the Gallery of the Guards, where we will find Etruscan and Roman jewels.       Welcome to Europamundo! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Transfer to Versailles Palace. Funicular ride included to Montmartre district. City tour in Paris. Early in the morning, we will leave for Versailles, the immense palace of the kings of France. After that, we will return to Paris at lunch time where we provide a transfer to the Montmartre disยญtrict. We will ascend by funicular to the hill and admire the spectacular view of Paris from the top. Thisneighborhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cabยญaretsโ€ฆ Sit down for lunch and enjoy a magical atmosphere. Then, a scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and thebreathtaking monuments of Paris will take place. Return to hotel. Optionally you can attend a variety show.

Then, we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Vineyards in Beaune and Bourgogne region. Funicular ride in Lyon. Today we travel to the center of France, to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. Making a stop in SEMUR EN AUXOIS, a small medieval town listed surrounded by impressive walls. After this we will visit BEAUNE, located in the center of the Bourgogne region, with its streets full of flowers, hospice and wine museum all points of interest. Continuing on, we will arrive to LYON in the mid-afternoon, the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhรดne (its historic center has been declared a World Heritage site). We include a funicular climb to Notre Dame de Fourviรจre where we have a great view of the city. Enjoy some leisure time to walk around. Part of the groups will be accommodated in Chambery, a city near Lyon. In these cases, we will leave at the end of the afternoon for CHAMBERY and accommodation. We will then have some time early in the morning to visit the capital of Savoy, a medieval-style city with beautiful historic center and a large castle.

With our guide, we will go to the Palace of Nations (the headquarters of the United Nations in Europe) to the pretty English Garden with its clock made of flowers and we can admire the โ€œJet dยดEauโ€, the tallest fountain in Europe. Through vignards landscapes we go on to CHILLON CASTLE, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic mediaeval castle. After this, we will continue to the picturesque walled village of GRUYERE, known worldwide for its cheese. Nearby this area are located several of the main chocolate factories in Switzerland (NESTLE amongst them), and we visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a tasting included!We will continue travelling through smaller roads amidst bucolic mountain landscapes and very picturesque wooden villages.- Arrival in LEYSIN, a beautiful little holiday village with spectacular views of the Rhรดne plain and Mont Blanc, known for its winter sports resort or its hiking possibilities. Dinner included.

Donยดt forget your winter clothes, we climb to one of the most spectacular spots in Switzerland where you can see ice and snow all year round. We include the cable car ride up to GLACIER 3000 where you can walk on the suspended bridge in the gap between two mountain peaks, enter the Ice Cathedral or "play" in the Fun Park. Stop in INTERLAKEN and time for lunch. Afterwards we travel to the AARESLUCHT GORGES. We then take the Sutenpass, one of the most beautiful roads in Switzerland that runs between glaciers and takes us to Italian-speaking Switzerland. . Overnight stay in CHIASSO, a Swiss town on the border with Italy. Note: Occasionally, due to weather conditions such as rain or strong winds, the cable car to Glacier 3000 may not operate.Note: The Sustenpass road is normally closed until the end of May and since mid-October. In this case the journey will be made by alternative roads.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful landscapes with mountains and lakes. Visit of Lugano and Lucerne. Visit the village that was made famous through William Tell. We will visit LUGANO the cosmopolitan capital of the Italian Switzerland with its beautiful lake. Time to stroll. We continue on the highway, we crossed St. Gotthard Pass. We stop in BURGLEN, the tiny village where William Tell was born, we shall see the chapel of the XVI century with paintings illustrating his life. If you want, you can also visit the museum of William Tell. In the neighboring city of ALTDORF we can also find traces of his history. Continue to LUCERNE, free time to explore this beautiful city by the lake that bears its name. We will suggest, optionally, to take the cruise on the Lake of the Four Cantons, considered one of the most beautiful lakes in Switzerland.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Baroque Abbey. Heidiโ€™s Village. Journey through beautiful landscapes. We leave Lucerne driving along the Four Cantons Lake towards EINSIEDELN, its immense baroque abbey is the most important pilgrimage center in Switzerland. After that we continue towards the East of Switzerland. MAIENFELD is the village which inspired Heidiโ€™s story. In HEIDIDORF we will be visiting Heidiโ€™s House (ticket not included. Entry to the facility is free), a picturesque place with beautiful landscapes that we will reach through a pedestrian path. Then we enter into the independent country of Liechtenstein, and its capital city VADUZ with its impressive castle. Time to stroll and have lunch. Subsequently, we go to the neighbor city of FELDKIRCH, in Austria, located next to the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Germany: charming walled city with a genuine historic city center and a castle. Free time.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Constanza Lake. Botanic Gardens. Rhein Waterfalls. Fantastic scenery. We start our day heading to ST. GALLEN, whose center is part of the World Heritage List by UNESCO with a wonderful cathedral and its historic center. Afterwards we will continue by Constance Lake, between Germany and Switzerland. We will have time for a walk at Constanceโ€™s center before visiting MAINAU Island (access by pedestrian bridge) with its stunning botanic garden (entry included). Then, again in Switzerland, we will take a stroll in STEIN AM RHEIN, a typical village on the Rhine River with precious houses with painted walls. We will also visit Rhine Waterfalls (entry included), the waterfalls with the most abundant flow in Europe. Arrival in ZURICH at the end of the day.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHTLIGHT: Zurich. Cruise on the Lake Zurich. Train. With our guide, we will have a tour of ZURICH, the most populated city of Switzerland, and the countryโ€™s financial and cultural capital. The city of the banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. Afterwards, we will include a cruise of almost two hours on Lake Zรผrich. The boat makes brief stops to allow us to see the villages on the way. We get off in RAPPERSWILL, a picturesque little village overlooked by its mediaeval castle. We go back to Zurich by train and appreciate the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railways. Note: Depending on the number of travelers, the transfers to the center and from the station may be made on public transport.
