Welcome to our Panama private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, without other people.

The driver will pick you up at Tocumen International Airport on time, and then transfer you to the hotel. You can rest in the hotel or walk around Punta Paitilla, a popular neighborhood in the city where you can see glass-walled high-rise buildings.

Day 2 Panama Canal Cruise

Panama Canal Cruise

Today welcomes the most unmissable highlight of your Panama tour, visiting the Panama Canal on a comfortable cruise to better appreciate its grandeur. You can definitely see the canal and lock systems at close quarters. In the early morning, you will be transferred to the Flamenco Marina on the Pacific coast for a ship check-in between 6:30 and 7:30 am. With a professional bilingual guide on board, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the canal’s construction and maintenance. The ship finally sails to the Gamboa Dredging Division in the middle of the Panama Canal. Along the way, it will pass under the Bridge of the Americas, the Miraflores Locks, the Pedro Miguel Locks, and the Centennial Bridge. Then the ship will enter the south end of the Gaillard Cut and you will disembark at Gamboa Dredging Division. In the end, you will be sent back to your hotel.

1. A breakfast and buffet lunch will be included on board in the above 6-hour canal tour.

Day 3 Panama Historic Culture Tour: Casco Viejo, Panama Viejo, Miraflores Visitor Center

Panama Historic Culture Tour: Casco Viejo, Panama Viejo, Miraflores Visitor Center

After the canal tour, today we will continue to explore Panama City, the fascinating melange of tradition and modernity. Today’s first stop is Amador Causeway, a popular and scenic causeway along the canal stretching to the Pacific Ocean. Then we will head to Panama City Old Town - Casco Viejo (San Felipe). The UNESCO-listed district is the most atmospheric neighborhood of the city with centuries-old churches, top restaurants, fancy bars, and cozy coffee shops, making many people lingering. Next, we will continue to see the Bridge of the Americas, the first bridge to cross the Panama Canal.

After lunch, we will head to the Miraflores Visitor Center, which offers a unique canal viewing experience different from seeing on the cruise. You will have a chance to see how mega ships transit through the legendary locks. Here you can also learn about the canal’s history and operation by a 3D movie. Finish visiting the spectacular canal locks, then we will go to Panama Viejo, the first city established in the early 1500s of Spanish colonial rule. The remains were left after the pirates ransacked the city and you can enjoy a wonderful piece of history. At last, we’ll go back to the hotel.

Note: Transits of ships at Miraflores Locks are not fixed every day. Our guide will adjust the visit order depending on the schedule of the official website, and try our best to help you witness the magnificent ship transit.

Day 4 Indian Embera Village Day Trip

Indian Embera Village Day Trip

Today we will head to Chagres National Park, about an hour’s drive away from Panama City. Ride a dugout canoe from Gatun River Dock and sail to the Chagres River, which will take about 30 minutes. After disembarking, go through the jungle, waterfalls and arrive at Embera Village. Here, we can learn about the history, tradition, lifestyle, and herbal medicine knowledge of the indigenous people, and enjoy music and indigenous dance performances. You can also see their handicrafts, including baskets and colorful clothes. After the visit, go back to the hotel.

Day 5 Visit Soberania National Park & Gatun Lake

Visit Soberania National Park & Gatun Lake

Drive to Soberania National Park by car to visit the rainforest on foot and admire different kinds of flora and fauna. After that, we will take a boat to visit Gatun Lake, explore Monkey Island and other islands to look for monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles and more. Afterward, take the aerial cable car and visit the Gamboa Rainforest. We will find birds, butterflies, and even sloths and monkeys.

Day 6 Free Day At Pearl Islands

Free Day At Pearl Islands

Today, the driver will escort you to the pier, and you need to take the morning ferry by yourself for about 1.5 hours to the Pearl Islands, about 30 miles off the Pacific coast of Panama. You are free for a day there to relax. You can arrange activities such as diving, snorkeling, kayaking or whale watching (July - October). We recommend Contadora, Saboga, Viveros and San Jose Islands. In the afternoon, please take the ferry back to the pier by yourself. The driver will pick you up at the pier and transfer you to the hotel.
