      Upon arrival at Muscat International Airport. Proceed straight to the Immigration. Immigration & customs are quick & simple. Upon arrival at the General arrival lounge, you will be met by an MTA representative who will assist you in checking into the hotel. Overnight at Muscat Hotel

  • Day 2 Half Day Muscat City Tour

      Today, your tour begins with a visit to the stunning Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Next, explore the Bait Al Zubair Museum. Enjoy photo stops at the residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and the Al Alam Palace, flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. In the evening, stroll through Muttrah Souq, where you can bargain for handicrafts and silver items. Overnight stay at a Muscat hotel.

      Note: The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque can be visited between 0800 – 1100 hrs on working days from Saturdays to Thursdays. It remains closed on Friday and public holidays

      On the third day, your tour guide will arrive at your hotel at 8:30 to collect you. From there, you’ll head to Quriyat, located on the eastern coast at the end of a sandy plain and surrounded by the Eastern Hajar Mountains. Close to Dibab, you’ll visit the Bimah Fissure, famous for its crystal-clear water. Continuing along the coastline, you’ll stop at Fins to see the renowned "White Beach," nestled beneath cliffs with powdery sand and an extraordinary turquoise sea. The journey then takes you through the charming seaside village of Tiwi, where you can explore Wadi Tiwi and admire the blue-green pool surrounded by palm trees. Afterward, proceed to Qalhat, one of the earliest towns and seaports in Oman. You’ll arrive at Ras Al Hadd in the afternoon, where you can relax before heading to the turtle observation area before dinner.

      Following a fantastic breakfast, your journey will take you to the vast Wahiba Sands, renowned for its pristine beaches and exceptional birdwatching opportunities. As your driver navigates down the Eastern coast, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Explore the towns of Jalan Bani Bu Hasan and Jalan Bani Bu Ali, known for their traditional Arabic architecture and rich cultural heritage. You’ll also encounter various wadis with diverse vegetation and uniquely shaped dunes, some featuring standing water puddles. The twin municipalities of Jalan Bani Bu Hasan and Jalan Bani Bu Ali, located 17 kilometers from Al Kamil and 36 kilometers from Al Ashkarah, offer a delightful detour to or from Ras al Jinz. It’s now time to return to your hotel.

      After breakfast, your tour guide will take you on a once-in-a-lifetime journey through Oman’s diverse landscapes. From vast dunes to serene wadis and stunning coastlines, this tour offers a comprehensive exploration of the region. You’ll traverse the renowned Wahiba Sands and the Empty Quarter Deserts, each with its unique character. The Rub Al Khali, or Empty Quarter Desert, is one of the largest sandy deserts in the world, covering an area larger than France. Among the highlights of this desert experience will be a solitary walk over a dune, far from any vehicle or sign of humanity, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the profound solitude of the desert.

      After breakfast and hotel check-out, your tour guide will escort you to our comfortable 4x4 vehicle for a journey to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis, featuring lush date palms and crystal-clear water. You can choose to hike further into the wadi to discover additional pools and a cave with an underwater stream. If swimming isn’t your preference, you can relax and watch the local boys cliff dive. After spending a wonderful afternoon exploring Wadi Bani Khalid, proceed northwest on Highway 23 to Ibra. Here, your tour guide will help you explore the ancient mud buildings still active in Ibra. On Wednesday mornings, the souq is quite lively, and if you continue past it and turn right, you’ll reach Al-Munisifeh, the old village of Ibra, with its crumbling mud buildings from days gone by. Next, head to Nizwa to visit the popular Nizwa Fortress and Souq. The fortress, a major national monument, is usually bustling, but you can enjoy traditional Omani food from various food stalls and witness local handicrafts being made. The Souq is also an excellent place to browse for traditional garments, spices, and souvenirs. After a day full of exploration, return to your hotel and relax, preparing for the next morning’s adventure.

      Start with a morning breakfast, after which you’ll proceed to Bahla, located west of Nizwa, to visit its UNESCO-listed fortress. Admire the impressive dimensions of this historic site, a testament to the strength of the Persian builders. Following a photo stop at Bahla Fort, you’ll continue to Wadi An Nakhr, a remarkable 600 km stretch of mountains offering activities such as trekking, walking in the Snake Gorge, and climbing to the highest peak. Along the way, you’ll notice the distinctive profile of Jebel Misht. The final stretch offers breathtaking views of the magnificent Wadi An Nakhr. Your journey will then take you to Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest mountain, renowned for its views into the deep Wadi Ghul. While the peak itself has no specific activities, it’s an excellent spot for photography, trekking the balcony trail, and enjoying a picnic. You will return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
