In the morning, your private guide will pick you up from the hotel for the next four hours' walking tour. First, we will stop by Akershus Fortress. It was built in 1300 to resist foreign invasion and now becomes the most typical medieval building in Oslo. Then, leave for Karl Johans gate. It is the main street of Oslo and many historical sites, such as the Royal Palace and Oslo Cathedral, are situated here. Next, you will be led to visit Oslo City Hall and Vigeland Park. Later, your guide will drop you off at Viking Ship Museum and say goodbye. After touring the museum yourself, you may take a boat at the nearby port and get back to downtown. After breakfast, your guide will accompany you to take the train (Comfort Class) bound for Myrdal. Upon arrival, transfer to famous Flam Railway to get to Flam. After a short break, we will take a boat crossing Sognefjord, the largest and deepest fjord in Norway, to reach the town of Balestrand. Balestrand is situated on the northern shore of Sognefjord and is known for picturesque landscape from the peaks. Stay one night in Balestrand.
