Okavango Delta - Chobe Adventure 7 Nights/8 Days

Itinerary

Day 1: You will be transferred to you campsite while viewing some animals like elephants, lions, leopards and general game.

Stop At: Okavango Delta, Okavango Delta, North-West District
Our local guide will pick you up and then you will drive for about 2 hours before you enter the reserve. There are some animals you might see on your way like, elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, leopards and different species of antelopes and your guide will explain about everything of interest you will see.
Duration: 1 day

Meals included:
• Lunch: Your guide will serve you packed lunches on your way. Bottled water and drinks will be provided. Dinner included on site
• Dinner: Dinner will be served at the campsite with some wines, beers and spirits with bottled water and drinks included.
Accommodation included: Overnight on a cleared bush private campsite in tents with bedding provided. Bucket showers and toilets provided.

Day 2: Experience the mokoro excursion, you might see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, leopard on your way to boat station

Stop At: Okavango Delta, Okavango Delta, North-West District
Experience the channels and floodplains of the heritage site Okavango delta on a mokoro/ dug out canoe where you get very close to nature while drifting silently and peacefully on a mokoro with your local guide. There you might see aquatic antelopes, elephants and lots of water birds.
Duration: 4 hours

• Breakfast: You will have breakfast before you start your activity of the day.
• Lunch: You will have your packed lunches while out on your activity. Bottled water and drinks will be included.
• Dinner: Dinner will be served at the campsite and wine, bottled water, beers and drinks will be included.

Day 3: You will be transferred to Khwai area while having a game drive where you might see leopards, cheetah and general game

Stop At: Khwai Concession, Moremi Game Reserve Botswana
Here you will do game drives, night drives and this area is well known for leopard, cheetahs, wild dogs, lions and big antelopes like roan,sable and lots of birds species. This day you will be transferred to your next area and campsite.
Duration: 5 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Breakfast will be served before you leave the campsite heading to your next destination.
• Lunch: You will be served some packed lunch on your way where you will have a lunch stop. Bottled water and drinks provided.
• Dinner: Dinner will be served on the campsite with wine, beer, bottled water and drinks provided.
Accommodation included: Overnight on a cleared private campsite in tents with bedding provided. Bucket showers and toilets provided.

Day 4: Khwai area, Moremi game reserve game drive where you might see lions, buffaloes, leopard, wild dogs and general game.

Stop At: Khwai Concession, Moremi Game Reserve Botswana
You will be doing a morning 3-4 game drive and then a night drive to look for nocturnal animals. Sightings can be wild dogs, leopard, elephants, buffalo, zebras and lions
Duration: 4 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Breakfast before you start your day exploring the concession and reserve.
• Lunch: Back to camp for lunch and have a break before you head out for evening night drive. Bottled water and drinks provided.
• Dinner: Dinner will be served at the campsite with wine, beers, bottled water and drinks provided.
Accommodation included: Overnight on a cleared private campsite in a tents with bedding provided. Bucket showers and toilets provided.

Day 5: Savute Marsh adventure, this is a game drive on the marsh where is home for zebras, wildebeest, lions and leopards.

Stop At: Savute Reserve, Chobe National Park Botswana
This day you will be transferred to your next destination while having a game viewing experience on the your way. and you might see herds of buffaloes, large herds of elephants, leopard, lions and general game.
Duration: 6 hours

• Lunch: You will have your packed lunch on your way with bottled water and drinks provided.
• Dinner: Dinner will be served in the evening at your campsite with wine, beers, bottled water and drinks provided.

Day 6: Savute Area. a game drive to experience, bushmen paints and it's also known for its predators lions and leopards

Stop At: Savute Reserve, Chobe National Park Botswana
Here you will do game drives and you can also have a chance to visit the bushmen paintings.This area is known for lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, elephants and leopards. You will do a morning game drive and afternoon game drive.
Duration: 4 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Breakfast will be served before you go out on your game drive.
• Lunch: Back to your campsite for lunch and have a break before you go out on your afternoon game drive.
• Dinner: Dinner will be served at the campsite in the evening with wine, beers, bottled water and drinks provided.
Accommodation included: Overnight on a cleared private campsite in tents with bedding provided. Bucket showers and toilets provided.

Day 7: Chobe River front, this area has largest population of elephants in the country so a game drive and boat cruise

Stop At: Chobe National Park, Chobe National Park, North-West District
You will be transferred to Chobe national park where you will be doing your boat cruise watching animals coming to drink on the banks of the Chobe river, hippos, crocodiles and lots of water birds.
Duration: 5 hours

• Breakfast: Breakfast will be served before you start heading to Chobe national park.
• Lunch: You will have your packed lunches on the way with bottled water and drinks provided.
• Dinner: Dinner will be served in the evening at your campsite with wine, beers, bottled water and drinks provided.
Accommodation included: Overnight on a public campsite in tents with bedding provided. Showers and toilets provided.

Day 8: Transfer to Kasane while doing a game drive on the way looking for elephants, buffaloes, leopard, and wild dogs.

Stop At: Chobe National Park, Chobe National Park, North-West District
This is your last day and you will be transferred to Kasane town where you will be driving through the park. Here you will be seeing large herds of elephants, buffaloes, lions and red lenchwe antelopes.
Duration: 4 hours
