Day 1: Day 1: Welcome to Argentina ! Arrival in Buenos Aires (-/-/-)

You will arrive in the city of Buenos Aires and will be transferred to the hotel in the neighborhood of Palermo.

Your local contact will welcome you and give you some recommendations to make the most of the neighborhood and the local cuisine with your family.

Day 2: Day 2: Buenos Aires: visit of the historic center & Southern neighborhoods (B/-/-)

Stop At: La Boca, La Boca, Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District
A local guide will meet you at your hotel and you will depart together to discover the hidden treasures of this city. You will discover mythical places such as the Plaza de Mayo or the Cabildo, and then you will arrive at the neighborhood of La Boca and its famous Caminito street. You will have the impression of reliving the past in the middle of the old houses built by immigrants in the XIXth century.

Day 3: โ€‹Day 3: Northwest - Flight to Salta "la Linda" (B/-/-)

Stop At: Salta, Salta, Province of Salta, Northern Argentina
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Buenos Aires "Jorge Newbery" airport where you will take your flight to Salta and the outstanding Northwest! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
You are free for the rest of the day, to visit the city at your own pace.
Recommendation: We suggest you explore the historic center, the Cabildo, the Cathedral and its baroque style, the Convent of San Bernardo and the Church of San Francisco (with its appearance of the colonial past of the city), the San Bernardo Hill, the High Mountain Archaeological Museum (MAAM), which has Inca mummies discovered on the summit of the Llullaillaco volcano at more than 6,000 meters above sea level.

At night, we recommend visiting some of the famous peรฑas (traditional tavern) where you can taste some tasty empanadas, roast, and a rich wine to the rhythm of northern folklore music.

Day 4: Day 4: Coloured mountains and salt desert of Jujuy (B/-/-)

Stop At: Purmamarca, Purmamarca, Province of Jujuy, Northern Argentina
Your rented car will be dropped off at your hotel.

You will drive through legendary Route 9 towards the province of Jujuy. You will have the opportunity to see the beginning of la Quebrada de Humahuaca and later youโ€™ll arrive at Purmamarca, a very traditional town that is at the foot of the famous Cerro de los Siete Colores, where you will spend the night.

Day 5: Day 5: Discovering the Quebrada de Humahuaca (B/-/-)

Stop At: Quebrada de Humahuaca, Rio Grande Purmamarca Village, Humahuaca Argentina
You will drive to the town of Tilcara and through the Quebrada de Humahuaca

Stop At: Tilcara, Tilcara, Province of Jujuy, Northern Argentina
In Tilcara, you will experience a unique activity: you will do a walk with llamas that have a very important meaning to the locals. Along the walk youโ€™ll be accompanied by a local guide and his llamas, who will be carrying the picnic on their back. You will go up to Punta Corral where you will appreciate a magnificent view of the Humahuaca valleys. Here you can enjoy your picnic to recover energy and then walk back to the town of Tilcara.

Day 6: Day 6: Rural community Ocumazo (B/L/D)

Stop At: Quebrada de Humahuaca, Rio Grande Purmamarca Village, Humahuaca Argentina
You will take the road to the community of Ocumazo, where your hosts will receive you with a traditional mate. You will share daily rural activities with them, such as the preparation of typical foods, visit of archaeological sites and walks in the quinoa plantations.

We propose you participate with your family in a gastronomy experience, while you learn more about their agricultural activity such as corn, potato, ollucos, habas, or the breeding of goats. You will taste your creations for lunch.

Day 7: Day 7: Traditions of the andean culture (B/L/-)

Stop At: Quebrada de Humahuaca, Rio Grande Purmamarca Village, Humahuaca Argentina
In the morning you will do a 3-hour horse riding in the surroundings (if you prefer, it's possible to replace it for a walk). You will enjoy the magnificent landscapes and the viewpoint of Cerro Santa Ana, where the Mount Hornocal is located, known as the "mount of 14 colors".
Ocumazo is located on a hidden valley between enormous mountains and the families take advantage of the land and its productions. A local guide will explain to you their traditions in the rural area.

Stop At: Serranias Del Hornocal, 25 Kilometers From the City, Humahuaca 4630 Argentina
After lunch, you say goodbye to your hosts and depart towards the famous Hornocal. You can admire the colors of this mountain before returning to Salta.

Recommendation: In the afternoon, we suggest visiting the animal shelter of Gรผra Oga, located 5 km away from the city. This place is a veterinary clinic and rehabilitation center for injured wild animals. You can make a detour to the birdhouse of the hummingbirds. You can also visit the spot where the borders between Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay meet, the โ€œTriple Fronteraโ€.

Day 9: Day 9: Iguazu National Park (B/-/-)

Stop At: Iguazu Falls, Iguazu National Park 3370 Argentina
Today you will explore the world-famous Iguazรบ Falls from the Argentine side. The group guided day trip includes all three sections of the falls: the lower falls accessible via a boardwalk of 1.7 km (be prepared to climb a lot of stairs!); the upper falls with incredible panoramic views along a 1.2 km boardwalk; and The Devil's Throat accessible via a boardwalk 1.1 km long.

There will be time for lunch during the tour (not included) and later you will adventure in a boat ride including some rapids and then going under the falls.

Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 10: Day 10: Brazilian side of the falls and Bird Park (B/-/D)

Stop At: Iguazu Falls, Foz do Iguacu, State of Parana 85855-750 Brazil
Early pick-up to set off for a small group excursion of the Brazilian side of the falls. The views from this side are simply breathtaking. You will walk along a path parallel to the river for 1.2 km before reaching a bridge that brings you closer to the Devil's Throat. After the visit to the falls, we ฬll have a stop on the Parque das Aves, an amazing place to discover the local birds such as toucans and parrots.

Note: For entering Brazil, UK citizens are requested to apply for a Visa.

In the afternoon, pick up at the hotel and private transfer to the region of Andresito (2 hours approx.).

Arrival to the natural reserve. Your hosts will tell all about the history of their family at this place, the work they do there and the different activities you can enjoy on the next day.
