      Enjoy your luscious breakfast at the hotel and get ready for a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit the beautiful historical Jama Masjid โ€“ The Masjid-i Jahฤn-Numฤ, commonly known as the Friday Mosque. Post-visit you would enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Old Delhi (included). Drive past the India Gate (war memorial dedicated to the lives of laid down by the Indian soldiers), the Presidentโ€™s Residenceโ€“formerly the Viceroyโ€™s Palace, the Parliament House, and the Secretariat Buildingsโ€“an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th-century architecture. Also visit Humayunโ€™s Tomb, one of the earliest examples of Mughal architecture in India. Recently renovated with the gardens restored to their former splendor, complete with beautiful fountains, it is a very attractive site. Architecturally, the mausoleum drew its inspiration from the styles prevalent in Samarkand, and the design of the Taj Mahal is based on this tomb. Optional visit to Qutab Minar (not included): the Qutab Minar complex has many historical monuments. One of the oldest mosques in India โ€“ The Quwwat-Ul- Islam โ€“ built from the dressed and carved stones of demolished temples, is situated in this complex. It establishes the political victory of Islam in northern India. The construction of the Qutab Minar is believed to have been started in 1199 by Qutab ud din Aibak and later completed by his successors. This stunning old tower is decorated with elegant balconies and carvings. Overnight in Delhi.

      This morning, after an energizing breakfast at the hotel, meet our tour representative who will help you with the transfer to Delhi railway station to board the train to Amritsar (Delhi / Amritsar Swarna Shatabdiโ€™12029 7:20 am / 1:45 pm hours). Upon your arrival to Amritsar, meet and greet our tour representative and together you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Inextricably linked with the history of Sikhism, Amritsar is amongst the most revered Sikh sites in the world, especially due to the Golden Temple here. The city was founded as recently as the 16th century and its name is a derivative of the Amrit Sarovar (pool of nectar), which is situated in the Golden Temple. Later in the evening, proceed to witness Palki Ceremony in Golden temple (included). To the accompaniment of drums and hymns that fill the air, gold and silver gilded palanquin, decorated with silk brocades, is prepared by the devotees to carry the Guru Granth Sahib (the Holy Book) from the main shrine in Hari Mandir to Darshani Deorhi (gateway leading to the inner sanctum). Performed every evening, several devout followers and visitors participate in the ceremony, which offers each individual at least a few seconds to help carry the palanquin. The Holy Book rests for a few hours in the inner chambers until the commencement of the early morning Palki Sahib Ceremony for bringing the Guru Granth Sahib from the Akal Takht (inner chambers) to the main shrine in Hari Mandir.       This morning, after breakfast, start with a full-day sightseeing tour of Amritsar, which takes you to the Golden Temple - the sacred Sikh sanctuary spread out in a vast complex around a huge water tank in the midst of which stands a marble sanctum where the holy book of the Sikhs, the Guru Granth is reverently placed. The roof of the sanctum is gold-leafed. The community kitchen provides free meals to up to 10,000 pilgrims or visitors in a day. Also, walk by the busy bazaars of the city; visit the historic Jallianwalah Bagh, where General Dyerโ€™s bullets killed hundreds of innocent Indians. Later, visit the Durgiana Hindu temple which looks like a replica of the golden temple. Late afternoon, visit the border town of Wagah to see the change of guard ceremony. It is a spectacle comparable to โ€™Change of Guardsโ€™ in London. The pomp and pageantry of the Beating Retreat and the Change of Guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces make for a most charming spectacle. After this battalion experience return back to the hotel (at around 7 pm) and enjoy some time at leisure to explore this buzzing small town with its bustling bazaars, markets, and hazard traffic, before your dinner at the hotel. Upon your arrival, you will be met and greeted by our tour representative and together you will follow to the next destination - Agra. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure, perhaps exploring its architectural marvels or get closer to the local life by learning of the struggles of some of the bravest women who have overcome life challenging obstacles at the Sheroes cafe. Enjoy the delightful performance showcasing the history of the city and its architectural heritage. Walkthrough the city bazaar to taste street food or buy exquisite marble and leather goods. You will definitely visit Agra Fort โ€“ built in red sandstone and the same marble of Makrana, the place in Rajasthan, from where the marble was sourced for the Taj Mahal. The lofty battlements of the Agra Fort cast its protective shadow over the far stretching mansions of nobles and princes built along the riverfront. Our following stop will be the most romantic expression of love well-known all over the world - Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal โ€“ in white nonporous marble that narrates the true love of the emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved begum, Mumtaz Mahal, to enshrine her mortal remains. It has been described as a โ€™Love Poem in Marbleโ€™ (Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays). In the evening we recommend you to go to see the Mohabbat Taj Show (not included). This 90-minute show features a replica of the Taj Mahal made in pure white Makrana marble like the original 17th-century monument. The model, built upon a 12 x 12 ft. area, weighs 8,250 kg. The show is an exciting and innovative presentation of spectacular song and drama. The Taj will be presented in 10 different moods, representing varying seasons and hours of the day. The show narrates a love story set in the 17th-century ambiance and woven around the Taj. Overnight in Agra.

En-route you will have a chance to see and visit Fatehpur Sikri (entrance not included), World Heritage Monument. Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital city, was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 AD and abandoned 15 years later due to severe water shortage. It is considered one of the architectural legacies of Emperor Akbar and it consists of beautiful palaces, halls, and mosques. Later on, you will continue your drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Take a walk down the busy streets of this โ€œPink Cityโ€. With broad avenues, ancient forts and magnificent royal palaces, it presents a striking spectacle. Here, the past comes alive in magnificent Forts and Palaces, blushed pink, where Maharajas once lived. Get lost in typical local bazaars, they are a lot of fun not just for whatโ€™s available, but also for the cheerful people in their traditional costumes. Overnight in Jaipur.

      After a tasty breakfast at your hotel, you will head on to your excursion to Amer Fort - one of the most beautiful forts of Rajasthan. It is a faithful example of Rajasthani architecture and it is home to the unique Sheesh Mahal โ€“ worldly know as a Palace of Mirrors, as its ceiling is completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. En-route to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahalโ€“the Palace of Winds. Afternoon visit to Maharajaโ€™s City Palace, the former Royal Residence, and part of it is converted into a museum. A private portion is still used by the Royal Family of Jaipur. Also, visit Jantar Mantar, the world-famous stone and marble crafted observatory are still in working condition. This religious complex offers a look into Delhiโ€™s rich cultural past and the best of Hindu culture. Combining several different and contrasting architectural styles of Hindu temple architecture of northern India, this monument is a fusion of pink sandstone and pure white Italian Carrara marble. If you decided to go to stroll down the Delhi streets, do not miss the typical bazaars and enjoy the variety of local gastronomy and hand made products.
