  • Day 1 Day 1: Delhi

      Day 1: Delhi

      Your private driver in an air-conditioned car will pick you up from your hotel. After lunch, meet your private tour guide and begin your sightseeing tour of Delhi. You will start out with a visit to the Jama Mosque. When you reach the mosque, explore the interior with your guide.

      Next, visit Raj Ghat, the place where the father of the nation Mahatama Gandhi was cremated. After that, Visit Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Qutub Minar is an excellent example of Afghan architecture constructed with marble and red sandstone. After that, stop at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Humayuns Tomb. Following your time there, visit India Gate, a memorial built in 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers.

      After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to Agra. Once youve settled in at your hotel, enjoy lunch and then start your sightseeing with a visit to the fascinating Taj Mahal, a symbol of love. Your guide in Agra will meet you at the Taj Mahal and will show you around the monument. Take your time to admire one of the most majestic and beautiful buildings in the world.

      Next, visit Agra Fort, one of the finest Mughal forts in India. Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, is a massive red sandstone fort on the bank of Yamuna River. Your guide will explain the history of Agra Fort.

      Next, visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, a tomb which has a special place in the chronicles of both history as well as architecture. Itmad-ud-Daulah is actually a mausoleum that overlooks the Yamuna River. Admire the very first tomb in India that was made entirely out of Marble. Next, visit Mehtab Bagh, which is a series of 11 parks on the Yamunaโ€™s east bank.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Agra - Jaipur

      After breakfast, you will be driven to Jaipur. En-route, visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1571 and 1585. Afterward, continue on your journey and when you arrive in Jaipur check in at your hotel. You may then enjoy your evening in Jaipur at your leisure.

      After breakfast at the hotel, meet your private tour guide and start your sightseeing of Jaipur by visiting the Amber Fort.       Next, visit the City Palace in the heart of Jaipur, which is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Enjoy the fine collection of textiles, costumes and armor at the City Palace. Next, visit Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds. This building was constructed so the royal women could watch the royal processions without being seen. Finally, view the stargazing observatory of Jantar Mantar, built by the renowned astronomer, Maharaja Jai Singh.

      After breakfast at the hotel you will drive to Jodhpur and en-route visit Pushkar - a holy place, famous for its Cattle Fair held every November. Visit the old temples and ghats of Pushkar, before continuing to Jodhpur. Check in at your hotel and enjoy your evening at leisure.

Afterwards you will visit the Jaswant Thada - a royal cenotaph built from white marble. After having lunch at your hotel you will drive to Udaipur and en-route visit Ranakpur - which is known for its superbly carved marble Jain Temples dating to the 15th century. Check in at your hotel upon arrival in Udaipur, and enjoy your evening at leisure.

      Today we visit Udaipur, also known as the city of sunrise.We start our sightseeing with the visit of Sahelion-Ki-Bari. This Garden of the Maids of Honour is well laid out with extensive lawns and shady walks. After the visit of Garden of Maids we visit a Museum of folk art. This museum has a rich collection of Folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments and paintings on display. After a break we proceed to city palace, the biggest Palace in India, where 4 generations of Maharajas added their contribution, is so carefully planned and integrated with the original buildings that it is difficult to believe that it was not conceived as a whole.The museum of the palace includes the beautiful peacock mosaic and miniature wall paintings of Indian mythology. Today we have an opportunity to visit a traditional painting school and see the famous miniature paintings done.In the evening we have a Boatride on the lake Pichola.The famous Lake Palace of Udaipur was the summer residence of the former rulers. The James bond Film Octopussy was shot here and made this palace more known in the west.
