Arrive Delhi - Delhi Sightseeing - Overnight stay in Delhi Tour Highlights: Red Fort (photo stop), Jama Masjid, Rajghat, India Gate, Parliament House (drive around), Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar At 9 am or your given time, you will be picked up from the Delhi Airport/Hotel/Railway station or your desired location in Delhi/Noida/Gurgaon, Start your guided sightseeing tour of "Old & New Delhi" by Red Fort (photo stop), then Jama Masjid, India's biggest mosque. Then take a Rickshaw Ride in the Chandni Chowk market. Continue to visit Rajghat, which is a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Humayun's Tomb (UNESCO World Heritage Site) The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1565-70. Your next stop is India Gate a war memorial. then drive past the President's House the official residence of the President of India and Parliament House which contains the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. Arrive in Agra, Which is a medieval city on the banks of the Yamuna River. It was founded by Sultan Sikandar Lodi in the year 1506. Agra achieved fame as the capital of the Mughal emperors from 1526 to 1658 and remains a major tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era buildings. Most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri, all three of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.  Check in to the hotel. After freshening up, meet your Guide in the Hotel Lobby. Start your tour with Agra Fort which was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Then visit Taj Mahal during Sunset. Taj Mahal is a classic example of Mughul architecture, built by Shah Jahan between ad 1632 and 1653 as the final resting place of his favourite wife Arjumand Bano Begum (also known as Mumtaz Mahal) who died in ad 1631 shortly after giving birth to their fourteenth child after visiting the Taj. Come back to your hotel & stay overnight in Agra.
