      Meet and assist at the Delhi Airport by our company representative and transfer to hotel.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Delhi

      Today after breakfast start the full day sightseeing tour of New & Old Delhi- the former center of Mughal power which offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling markets. Visit the Red Fort built in 1648 by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan famous for his great edifice of love the Taj Mahal. Also see the biggest mosque in India the Jama Masjid, constructed by Shah Jahan in 1658. Then you can take Rickshaw Ride at Old Delhi the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk to get a feel of the royal life of the Mughal emperors. 

      Also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial to the father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi & Birla Mandir, the oldest temple in Delhi. 

      Post lunch visit โ€œ New Delhi โ€œ which came into existence much later, and is also known as Lutyens Delhi, taking after the name of a British architect who was largely responsible in designing India Gate, Humayun Tomb, Grand Presidential House, Secretariat, Parliament House and many other buildings in that area. Visit the recent jewel in the crown, Lotus Temple and then drive on to see the 

      tallest tower in Delhi, known as Qutub Minar, which declared the arrival and rise of Islam in India.

      This morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Agra. Upon arrival and check in to Hotel.

      Afternoon visit Agra fort โ€“ the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the DiwanI-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience; the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.

      Today Sunrise magnificent of the Taj Mahal - one of the Seven Wonders of the World surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahanโ€™s beloved wife. 

      Return back to Hotel and after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur.

      En-route visit 16th century Mughal town of Fatehpur Sikri, Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty โ€“Fatehpur Sikri built in Red sandstone in honor of Saint Salim Chisti, who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. The Buland Darwaza, an imposing gateway 54 m high was built to commemorate Akbarโ€™s Aligarh the famous university town is a center of Islamic studies. Akbar built in 1392; The Tomb is combination of Muslims and Hindu Architectural styles.

      Enroute also visit Abhaneri step well ( Chand Baori )

      This morning after breakfast visit impressive Amber Fort situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, making your entrance in the time honoured fashion. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families.

      Later afternoon tour of the City - "The Pink City" is spectacularly set within surrounding rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses. Your tour will include the imposing City Palace, still home to the Maharaja although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Many antiques and artifacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry. 

      You will also visit the Hawa Mahal "Palace of the Winds", and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast astronomical, instruments. Also visit Albert hall, enjoy a stroll through the colorful bazaar before returning to your hotel.

      In the evening enjoy Boat Ride at Lake Pichola over sunset hours.

      This morning after breakfast visit the Grand City Palace Museum and towers over the Pichola Lake. Maharana Uday Singh initiated in the construction of the palace but succeeding Maharanisโ€™ added several palaces and structures to the complex retained a surprising uniformity to the design.

      Visit Jagdish Temple -The exterior and the plinth are covered with base relief of alligators; elephants, horsemen and celestial musicians rise in tears. Chanting, bells and music can be heard throughout the day.

      Visit Shalio Kee Badi- The "garden of the maids of honour", Sahelion-ki-Bari was designed and laid out early in the eighteenth century as a retreat for ladies of the royal household to spend their time in leisure. The lotus pool, fountains, lawns, flowerbeds, and marble pavilions all combine to make it a captivating place. Visit Dilkhush palace, sheesh Mahal, Moti Mahal, Krishna Villas.
