Today morning after breakfast start your day with  a drive to Agra. Drive to Agra  is approximately 4 hours drive. Upon arrival in Agra checkin into the pre booked hotel. After some rest visit the historic fort of Agra - Agra fort which was constructed with red sand- stone.  The fort  is located on the right bank of the river Yamuna. This fort was constructed by the third Mughal emperor Akbar.  Sheesh Mahal, Diwani-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas are some of the excellent constructions of this fort.  Sheesh Mahal is the Glass Palace, which was used as royal dressing room, the walls are decorated with tiny mirror.  Diwani-i-Am  is ( Public Audience Hall) where the King used to  communicate with the public andofficials.  The King used to listen to all the petitions and communicate with others sitting on the gems stoned Peacock Throne. Diwan-I Khas is (Hall of Private Audience) . It is decorated with precious stones and constructed with white marble.  This hall  was used to meet the Kings and  dignitaries. Later visit Tajmahal at the time of sunrise.  Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world.  Taj Mahal is the tomb of the emperor’s wife, Mumtaz Mahal.  20,000 labour worked to construct this monument.  Taj Mahal was constructed in the memory of Shan Jahan’s beloved wife Mumtaz.  Agra has a very rich heritage of handicrafts market, you can have a look at the same in the evening.
