      Day 5: Drive To Pokhara

The second-largest city of the nation and situated on the Phewa Lake, Pokhara, is a picturesque place popularly visited for the Annapurna Circuit, which is a Himalayan trail. Annapurna is also the 10th highest summit in the world and sees mountaineers from all over all year round.

Chitwan, the journey approaches towards Pokhara along the Trishuli River. On reaching Mugling, the route to Pokhara takes a left bent where the road follows the Marshyangdi River. This is a beautiful route as it slowly exposes the Annapurna peak presenting with stunning views. As we approach the city, the Phewa Lake amidst the mountain range is bound to make our hearts skip a bit. A boat ride on the lake is our next thing to do on the arrival day on the lake-front city.
