      Highlights of the Day : Arrival , colombo sightseeing. You will be welcomed by the Look Lanka Tours Representative at the Airport and then transfer to Colombo.  Colombo. Colombo is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and remnants of a old colonial era. Due to its large harbor and its strategic position along the East-West sea trade routes, Colombo was known to ancient traders 2,000 years ago. It became capital of Sri Lanka when Sri Lanka became part British Empire in 1815. On this tour you will visit many of the historical, religious and commercial sites of Colombo including the historic and bustling Fort and Pettah, the elite residential Cinnamon Gardens, the Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park and much more.   Check in to the hotel Overnight stay in Colombo 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Colombo / Pinnawala / Anuradapura

      Highlights of the day: Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage ,Take the Anuradhapura city tour., Spend time relaxing in ancient ruins.  After breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura. En route visit Pinnawala Elephants Orphanage.  Pinnawala Elephants Orphanage.  Here you will witness baby elephants being fed by a feeding bottle as soon as you enter. This is a lovely site for tourists. This elephant orphanage also houses the crippled elephants that canโ€™t take care of themselves. Special mahouts are trained to take care of these โ€˜gentle giantsโ€™ who are sometimes orphaned. Witness as these beautiful creatures are fed at 9.15am, 13.15pm or when they are bathed โ€“ twice a day at 10.00am and 02.00pm respectively. This is an experience that is sure to leave you mesmerized for a life time!  Check in to the Hotel. After the 'lunch Anuradhapura ancient city tour. See the ancient ambience of the ruins in Anuradhapura.    The ruins of Anuradhapura are one of South Asiaโ€™s most evocative sights. The sprawling complex contains a rich collection of archaeological and architectural wonders: enormous dagobas, soaring brick towers, ancient pools and crumbling temples, built during Anuradhapuraโ€™s thousand years of rule over Sri Lanka. Today several of the sites remain in use as holy places and temples; frequent ceremonies give Anuradhapura a vibrancy thatโ€™s a sharp contrast to the ambience at Polonnaruwa.  Return to the hotel, Overnight stay in legendry Anuradhapura

      Highlights of the day: polonnaruwa sightseeing, Visit Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, evening rest and relaxation. After a delicious breakfast proceed to sigiriya. En-route visit polonaruwa to witness the ancient ambience of ruins.   Kings ruled the central plains of Sri Lanka from Polonnaruwa 800 years ago, when it was a thriving commercial and religious centre. From here, free-marketers haggled for rare goods and the pious prayed at any one of its numerous temples. The glories of that age can be found in archaeological treasures which give a pretty good idea of how the city looked in its heyday. You'll find the archaeological park a delight to explore, with hundreds of ancient structures โ€“ tombs and temples, statues and stupas โ€“ in a compact core. The Quadrangle alone is worth the trip.  Take the sightseeings in Polonnaruwa sightseeings Check in to the hotel. After the lunch Visit Dambulla Golden Cave Temple. Evening Rest and relaxation.
