  • Day 1 Airport - Negombo

      Airport - Negombo

      Arrive by flight and you will be transferred to the arrival terminal. Please clear immigration & visa formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel if you do not have goods to be declared to customs. You will meet one of the Representatives of Apple Vacations will assist you as he will be having a paging board with your name in the meeting area, and he will introduce you to your own English speaking chauffeur guide who will transfer you to the hotel in Negombo.  After checking into the hotel, proceed to Muthrajawela, a lovely wetland near Negombo. Explore the lush vegetation and look for some of the many bird species that live here. A boat ride down the Dutch canal, created during the colonial era and surrounded by beautiful coconut trees, is also offered. Overnight stay at Negombo and enjoy the dinner with delicious meal.

You will first visit the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, one of the most notable features of the fortress is the frescoes that adorn the western face of the rock. These frescoes depict beautiful women in various poses and are considered to be some of the finest examples of ancient Sri Lankan art. The fortress also includes a number of gardens and water features, including a mirror wall that was once polished to a high sheen. The Temple of the Tooth is a renowned Buddhist temple that houses Lord Buddha's tooth relic. The complex features of the temple's design, as well as the calm atmosphere that surrounds it, will surprise you. It is one of the most sacred temples in the country and is believed to house the relic of the tooth of the Buddha, which is said to have been brought to Sri Lanka in the 4th century AD. The temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is visited by thousands of pilgrims and tourists each year. Next, visit Kandy Lake. Kandy Lake is a man-made lake located in the heart of Kandy city, Sri Lanka. It was built by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe, the last king of the Kandyan Kingdom. The Nine Arch Bridge, located in Demodara, Sri Lanka, is a historic railway bridge built during the British colonial period. It spans a ravine and is made up of nine arches. The bridge is a popular tourist attraction and is considered a marvel of engineering. Visitors can hike to the site or view it from the nearby railway station. Then visit Little Adam's Peak, a small peak in Ella, Sri Lanka, that is popular for hiking. You'll pass through tea plantations, forests, and streams along the journey, and the views at the top are breathtaking. Despite its name, Little Adam's Peak is not a pilgrimage site, but it is a must-see for anybody who enjoys trekking and nature. Then go to Ravana Falls, a magnificent waterfall that rushes down from the highlands and is surrounded by rich foliage and breathtaking panoramas. The Ravana Falls are located in the misty mountains of Ella, Sri Lanka along the road. The water gushes down a height of 25 meters fallen from an oval concave rock. Ravana Falls is a 3-tier cascading waterfall, creating rock pools along its way down. During the wet season the Ravana Falls takes the form of a drooping areca flower, but its wide size is reduced dramatically during the dry season. Although it is always worth it to check this waterfall when youโ€™re Ella as itโ€™s one of the easiest accessible waterfalls in Sri Lanka. So here is all the information you need before you visit Ravana Falls Ella. Then visit Ravana Cave, which is rich in legend and history. This cave was once home to the demon king Ravana, a significant character in the ancient Hindu epic Ramayana, according to local belief. Finally Visit to Little Adam's Peak is a well-known trekking destination. This peak is well-known for its stunning views over the surrounding hills, forests, and tea plantations. Reaching the mountain provides beautiful panoramic views of the morning and sunset, as well as a superb perspective of the Ella area.  Spend the night in Ella and enjoy the dinner with a delicious meal at the hotel.

  • Day 9 Mirissa - Galle

Start with a must-do whale-watching excursion in Mirissa. Brought out to sea on a boat to witness some of the incredible whales that dwell in the waters off Sri Lanka. You might also get to see dolphins and other sea creatures. Travel to Galle, a historic city on Sri Lanka's southern coast, after the whale-watching cruise. The Galle Dutch Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Portuguese erected this ancient fort in the 16th century, and the Dutch extended it in the 17th. You may walk around the fort and visit the well-preserved colonial-era structures, such as the lighthouse and the ancient Dutch Reformed Church. As well as Jungle Beach, a peaceful beach near Galle. This lovely beach is surrounded by lush vegetation and is great for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Finally return back to the Hotel & enjoy the dinner with a delicious meal at Mirissa.

  • Day 10 Mirissa - Ahungala

      After the breakfast at the hotel move to Ahungala.  Stop along the way for a Madu River boat safari. On the safari, you can see a variety of species, including crocodiles and monkeys. On Cinnamon Island, you can also see how cinnamon is harvested and processed. Next, visit to turtle hatchery, where you can see baby turtles and learn about the conservation efforts to protect these endangered creatures. Have the opportunity to release baby turtles into the ocean and contribute to the conservation efforts. After the safari, visit the Masque Museum in Ambalangoda. This museum displays traditional Sri Lankan masks used in dance and theater performances. Finally, arrive at your hotel in Ahungala for an overnight stay and enjoy the dinner with a delicious meal.
