0700hrs: Depart from your Nairobi City Hotel. The morning drive is via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle. Arrive at the Amboseli national park in time for lunch. Take a midday rest and later venture into the park for the scheduled afternoon game viewing drive. We shall be in search of elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, cheetah, warthog, ostrich and many others The Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the skyline and surrounding country side It is the tallest in Africa and highest free standing mountain in the world. Mount Kilimanjaro with its snow - capped peak shall dominate the background while we marvel at the wildlife and scenery.

A full day in this photogenic park. Morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Lodge. Amboseli National Park offers one of the most classic and breathtaking views of Kenya, the gigantic Kilimanjaro mountain. The park has an endless supply of water which is filtered through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro. Animal species seen include elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and leopard. Over 400 species of birds occur in the park includes pelican, bee eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle and pygmy falcon.  Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Early morning game drive can be taken in Amboseli when Mt. Kilimanjaro usually appears from its mantle of clouds, the game Proceeds to the area of Lake Amboseli, which is a wide salt pan, consisting of permanent swamps. This area has much game, large and small, high concentration of Elephant, rhino, buffalo, Burchell’s zebra, eland, Masai giraffe and small species of the antelope family, the common water buck, klipspringer, Grant’s gazelle, impala, topi, and the diminutive duiker among others. We then drive to Tsavo West National Park, a stop-over is made at Mzima Springs, the source of most of Mombasa’s fresh water; you can walk down to an underwater observation chamber where it is literally possible to watch hippo or crocodile swim along the floor of this crystal clear spring. Tsavo is particularly famous for its large herds of elephants.  There are many tourist attractions at Tsavo West National Park, from safari tours to see the red-skinned elephants, to bird watching and hill hiking, to caving and boating. There are many Kenyan animals in the park, including elephants, African lions, hippos, cheetahs, hartebeest and buffalo.  Tsavo West National Park covers 7065km² but the terrain is much more varied than that of Tsavo East. It ranges from 200-1000m in altitude. The northern sector is bush land with scattered native baobab trees. The railway runs along the border separating Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Park.
