  • Day 1 Day 1: Nairobi To Maasai Mara National Reserve

      Day 1: Nairobi To Maasai Mara National Reserve

      At 8 oโ€™clock you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley where you will get to view the volcani mountains which are semi- active like Mt longonot, Suswa and Margret for 10mins. There after drive 2 hours to a town known as Narok where you will have lunch at a local restaurant and later have a late checking in the afternoon at your camp.At 4.30pm commence on a 2hour evening game drive to look for the nocturnal hunters coming out from their day slumber to start their hunts alongside you will see zebras, antelopes among other wildlife. Capture the evening Sunset especially if the clouds are clear at 6pm. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at the lodge/camp. Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserveโ€™s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenyaโ€™s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeestโ€™s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five.       Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

      Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five.This day you will visit the mara river and here get to see the hippos and Nile crocodiles.Thereafter a picnic lunch under a Croton tree overlooking the vast landscape of the park with animals grazing. Continue with game drives en route to your camp/lodge. Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. OPTIONAL. A balloon safari at USD 450 per person can can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.       Day 3: Maasai Mara To Lake Nakuru National Park

      Early morning breakfast and thereafter check out and proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park where you expect to see the endangered species of the white rhino, roschild giraffe , flamingoes which if not many can also be seen in large volumes at Amboseli National park the next day.
