  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival Nairobi

      Day 1: Arrival Nairobi

      Arrival in Nairobi, welcome by your guide, short preparatory briefing and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your time of arrival, you can visit the Girafe Center or even the former farm of Karen Blixen, famous author of "The African farm", located about ten kilometers from the capital, at the foot of the Ngong mountains. This first excursion will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the legendary film "Out Of Africa". Overnight at 67 Airport Hotel 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Nairobi To Ol Pejeta Conservancy
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Nairobi To Ol Pejeta Conservancy

      Breakfast at 0730, depart by 0800 for Sweetwaters, we drive we drive north into plush Kikuyu farmlands watching the landscape alternate from rolling green hills to never ending plains. Brief rest halt at Nanyuki Equator Point. Arrive at Sweetwaters at 1130. Check in. time at leisure, lunch at 1230, afternoon game drive at 1530, visit the chimp sanctuary and Morani, the tame rhino. The Sanctuary is home to the endangered Chimpanzee species, many are babies and orphans rescued from Central African countries where the trade in bush meat (meat from chimps killed by illegal forest loggers and sold to unsuspecting customers). Return to the camp by 1815. Dinner and overnight Sweetwaters tented camp

  • Day 3 Day 3: Ol Pejeta To Aberdares National Park

      Day 3: Ol Pejeta To Aberdares National Park

      Early morning game viewing run at 0630, return for breakfast by 0900. Depart at 0930 for Mweiga. Arrive at the Aberdare Country Club at 1200, time at leisure, lunch at 1230, transfer at 1415 to The Ark, located in the heart of the Aberdare Rain Forest and providing a front seat to the never ending theatrics of the animals at the waterhole. Arrive by 1515, afternoon and evening at leisure, the โ€œtreehotelโ€ stands on wooden stilts overlooking a waterhole from which animals can be viewed throughout the day and night (the waterhole is lit by powerful spotlights strategically positioned).   • Day 4 Day 4: Aberdare To Lake Nakuru National Park

      Day 4: Aberdare To Lake Nakuru National Park

      Breakfast then early departure to Lake Nakuru park. (About 4h30 drive). It is considered one of Kenyaโ€™s must-see natural sites. The brackish water of its lake attracts many flamingos and pelicans in season, while its forests and plains are home to an incredible variety of fauna. We can thus leave with our guide in search of lions, leopards, white rhinos, buffalos, and other Rothschild giraffesโ€ฆ Lunch at the lodge located in Nakuru park.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha And Crescent Island

      Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha And Crescent Island

      After breakfast, departure to the famous Rift Valley and its impressive fault which gave birth to a host of lakes in this part of Kenya. (About 1h30 drive). Lunch in a lodge facing Lake Naivasha. At the very beginning of the afternoon, motor boat trip on the lake. It is home to some 300 species of birds (raptors, kingfishers, wading birds, etc.) as well as many noisy hippos. We then disembark on the small island of Crescent Island and it is on foot that we leave in the company of a ranger, in pursuit of the zebras, gazelles, wildebeest and other giraffes who have taken up residence on this small piece of land. A unique walking safari, without any danger since the island has no predators.  Dinner and overnight Sawela Lodge


  • Day 6 Day 6: Lake Naivasha - Hellโ€™S Gate National Park

      Day 6: Lake Naivasha - Hellโ€™S Gate National Park

      After breakfast, drive to the very discreet little park of Hellโ€™s Gate is located 8 km south of Lake Naivasha. (About 30 minutes). It takes about 1h30 to reach by vehicle a somewhat unusual place in Kenya, whose name means "the gates of hell". It is by mountain bike that we go on the tracks. They cross sumptuous landscapes where gazelles, zebras, warthog giraffes and other herbivores live peacefully. No fear, no predator will disturb our walk. The most beautiful track crosses large cliffs with ocher hues offering a striking visual contrast. It leads to gorges and canyons that we can walk through with one of the park rangers. Bring a pair of sneakers or walking shoes. On the program, waterfalls and hot springs, geysers, sulfur fumes, proof of the active geothermal energy of the place. We end with the parkโ€™s โ€œvolcanic monumentโ€, the Fisher Tower, which is 25 meters high. It served as a backdrop, in 1950, for the film "The mines of King Solomon". Arrival and late lunch at our camp. Rest then free afternoon.

      Day 7: Naivasha - Loita Hills: On The Ancestral Lands Of The Maasai

      After breakfast then we go to live a beautiful human experience in the company of the most famous people of the country, the Masai. After about 5 hours of driving, we arrive at approximately lunchtime at the Maji Moto Eco Camp (or equivalent), a camp designed and managed by a Maasai community. The common areas completely reflect the architecture of the manyattas. The camp overlooks the Loita Hills, offering the traveler a 360 degree panorama of great beauty. In the afternoon, our hosts invite us to go for a walk on their ancestral lands. Our English-speaking driver-guide can accompany us to help us converse with our Maasai guides. Wild animals are never far away, so we should take advantage of the ride to meet some great people. The camp is located next to hot springs, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Return to camp at the end of the afternoon. Palaver around a campfire. The Maasai are excellent storytellers .  Dinner and overnight at the Maji Moto Eco Camp

  • Day 8 Day 8: Loita Hills - The Masai Mara Reserve

      After breakfast, it will already be time to leave our Maasai hosts to join the Massai Mara reserve (around 1h30 drive) which, with its 1672 kmยฒ of savannahs and rolling hills, is home to the largest population of lions in Africa. . Installation at the camp then lunch. Rest then departure in the afternoon for a first safari in the Kenya flagship reserve until sunset.  Dinner and overnight at Mara Jambo Lodge

  • Day 9 Day 9: Maasai Mara Game Drive

      Day 9: Maasai Mara Game Drive

      Located on the border with Tanzania, the Maasai Mara reserve attracts hordes of mammals to its fertile plains, a real boon for predators that the traveler will be surprised to be able to observe so easily. Between July and October, the plains of Mara are invaded by millions of wildebeest and zebras, during what is called "The Great Migration". Coming from the neighboring Serengeti park, these hordes of herbivores cross at their own risk, the Mara river infested with crocodiles and offer themselves as a feast to lions and other cheetahs who did not ask for so much! We have three outings on the slopes today. First of all at dawn, perhaps to have the chance to attend the last hunts of the night. Return to the lodge for breakfast then departure for a new safari.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Masai Mara To Nairobi

      Day 10: Masai Mara To Nairobi

      Morning safari then return to camp for our breakfast. It will already be time to leave the reserve to reach Nairobi. (About 6h00 drive). Lunch en route. Arrival in Nairobi then transfer to the airport for your international flight
