Day 2: From Naharia To Fasuta

The day starts with a short taxi shuttle to the starting point of the hike. You will spend most of the first along the Kziv stream, the longest stream in Galilee. It is characterized by a very rich Mediterranean flora - a mixture of carob trees, oaks, arbutus and oriental plane trees, along with a wide variety of wildflowers. Several beautiful springs and pools provide great places for a pleasant lunch break. The crusader castle Monfort is perched on the southern cliffs. A worthwhile short detour. The trail ends in Fasuta. Here you can spend the night in a cosy wooden cabin. Fasuta is an interesting Arabian village. The majority of the population are Melkite Christians from Damascus in Syria. Day 3: From Fasuta To Hurfeish

The hike starts right at the property. The first half of the day has some ascents and descents over hills and canyons until we are back in the Kziv stream. On this day, you will hike in a section of the Kziv called Wadi Habis. A pleasant path that leads past several small springs finally takes us to the beautiful source of Ein Hotam. From there, a short walk leads to the pleasant Druze village of Horfeish. The Druze are a religious minority in Israel with only 100,000 people. It is an excellent opportunity to experience their culture, heritage and great food.
