  • Day 1 Drive From Kathmandu To Phaplu (2,413 Meter/ 9,980 Feet) - 12/13 Hours.

      Our great adventure to Mera Peak Climb begins with exciting overland journey towards eastern Nepal reaching at Solu, located south of Everest, where drive leads past towns and villages of Himalayan foothills and to lovely place of Dhulikhel. As drive continues heading further east on winding dirt road to Ramechap then reaching at Solu areas past Salleri headquarter town of Solu-Khumbu and then at Sherpa village of Phaplu for overnight stop. 


  • Day 2 Trek To Taksindu Dada (2,931 Meters /9616 Feet) 5/6 Hours.

      After a wonderful overnight in Phaplu within Sherpa village, morning walk leads on winding path with first glimpse of Khumbu Mountains as walk leads uphill to cross a bridge with short climb to Ringmo village. From Ringmo, a gradual climb into forested area of pines and rhododendron trees to reach at Takshindu hill top a pass at 3,070 m. The top adorned with Mani Stupa or chhorten with views of Numbur, Kusum Kangguru, Thamersarkhu and Kantega peaks towards North. From here a short to Takshindo village for overnight stop with time to visit its interesting monastery. 




  • Day 3 Trek Khari Khola (2,370 M/ 7,775 M)-6/7 Hours.

      Morning an easy walk on long downhill into forest to Nunthala village, also called Manidingma a large hill village with Rai and Sherpa communities as walk continues down at Dudh Kosi River, crossing the river with short climb to Jubing village, from here an hour uphill to Khari-Khola for overnight stop, this is one of the large village with Sherpa, Magar and Rai village.

      Enjoying overnight stop at Khari-Khola where morning walk leads high ridge at Pangbun, crossing over river then with steep climb for an hour to for overnight stop in this isolated Sherpa farm village, located on a hill top, offers grand views of rolling hills and valleys. 


  • Day 5 Trek To Ningsow (2,863 Meters/ 9,393 Feet)-4/5 Hours.

      From here into pure wilderness away from main village and human settlement, as walk leads towards higher area within dense woodland of tall rhododendron, magnolia, oaks and pine with fir trees to reach at Ningsow area, which is a summer grazing pasture for domestic animals of nearby villages. Our overnight camp is set, from here on in tented camps till Lukla after Mera Peak climb. 



  • Day 6 Trek To Chhatra-Khola (2,800 Meters/ 9,186 Feet) - 6/7 Hours.

      Morning starts with the sound of birds within deep forest surrounding, as walk heads leads towards Inkhu valley where Mera Peak located. Walk leads uphill crossing few streams within forested area encountering many temporary cattle herder shelters to reach at Chhatra-Khola where the stream flows from the source of Mera Peak and other adjoining peaks as well. 




  • Day 7 Trek To Kothe (3,691 Meters/12,109 Feet)- 6/7 Hours.

      Today walk leads past tree lines to enter into mountainous country to reach inner Inkhu valley where trail from Lukla joins near tat Kothe on route Mera Peak base camp. Walking into tree lines and many pasture area to reach a clear and wide grassy field and Kothe for overnight camp. 


  • Day 8 Trek To Thaknak (4,358 Meters/14,297 Feet) - 3 / 4 Hours.

      From Kothe, a short morning walk downhill facing excellent view of Peak 43 and Kusum Kanguru peaks, reaching at inner and scenic Inkhu valley along with views of Mera Peak South Face to reach into rhododendron and pine forest, as walk leads into forest reaching at Thaknak for overnight stop, a place with few simple huts serving as tea-house for visitors and local porters. 

  • Day 9 Trek To Khare (5,045 Meters/16,486 Feet)- 2/3 Hours.

      After a nice rest day our adventure continues on gradual path with few ups and downs overlooking fabulous scenery of the surrounding hills and dales that fills around Inkhu valley, as walk gets closer towards Charpatti Tal (four sided lake) dammed by ricks and moraine, and then climb for a short period which lead to a descend within a large meadow at Khare our overnight camping site which is also a Mera Peak base camp. 

      Day 16: Trek down to Lukla via Zatrwa La pass  (4,610 m/ 15,124 ft)- 6/7 hours 

      Today, our last day of trekking of this wonderful adventure morning and whole day enjoy long day treks with climb over high ridge of Naulekh or Kalo Himal and Zatrwa Og including Zatrwa-La, after strenuous climb then descend towards Chutanga within greenery and thick forest and then ending our walk at Lukla for scenic flight back to Kathmandu, in Lukla enjoy the last dinner. 


      Day 17: Lukla (Tenzing-Hillary Airport) to Kathmandu (Tribhuvan Intยดl Airport) fly back. 

      From Lukla the flight starts early morning to Kathmandu, sometime the flight time can get delayed due to bad weather, as per the flight time board in the small plane for a super, scenic flight back to Kathmandu, on reaching at Katmandu domestic terminal our guide and staff transfer you back to respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu in and around Thamel area, for some might connect flight to your home country or other respective destinations after flying out from Nepal.

  • Day 10 Acclimatization Day In Khare And Pre-Climbing Training And Become Familiar With Using Crampons, Carabiners, Figure Eight, Rope Ice Axe Etc.

      Here having a rest day after a walk of more than a week duration which is important for acclimatization as well to practice climb on glacier, around icy and rocky area, rest of the afternoon relax and preparation for the climb of Mera Peak.

      From base camp at Khare, where we have set one more camp to make this climb a great success and approachable, morning walk follows across Mera-La to reach Mera High Camp in complete tranquil environment, afternoon free after having lunch with preparation for next early morning climb on top Mera Peak, while our guides will scout the area for better routes and make the path much safer with necessary arrangement from incidental accidents. 

  • Day 12 Climb To Mera Peak Summit (6476 Meters / 21246 Feet) - 9/10 Hours.

      Starting early morning with serious climb and without any technical problem, as route leads to straightforward climb, however one needs to take safety measures equipped with crampons, ice axe, helmets, after a strenuous climb finally reaching on top Mera Peak summit top, facing panorama of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho- Oyu all the way to Mt. Kanchenjunga. After the climb feeling high then descend on same route and trek all the way to base camp at Khare, feeling tired and exhausted but glad to have done this marvelous adventure climb on top Mera peak. 


  • Day 13 Reserve Day For Contingency.

      An extra day as contingency or reserve day in case of unfavorable weather conditions, if all goes well this spare can be used on the way to Lukla or on-route.

      From Khare and Mera Peak base camp return journey will be pleasant without problem of altitude gain, although walks leads to few ups and downs and back into green vegetations and tree lines at Kothe within a small cattle herders shelters.

      Morning walk continues leading into dense woodland with steep climb on some small hills and continue walk along grassy meadow with gradual walk to reach our last camp of the adventure at Thuli - Kharka.
