  • Day 1 Day 1: Marrakech - Ouarzazate

      Day 1: Marrakech - Ouarzazate

      Arrive in Casablanca at 7:10 am and transfer to Marrakesh at 8:45 am arriving at 9:55 am. Morning drive to Ouarzazate. After lunch, an orientation tour of Ouarzazate with an excursion to the legendary village of Ait Ben Haddou. Dinner and lodging at a Guest house.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Ouarzazate - Zagora - Mโ€™Hamid

      Day 2: Ouarzazate - Zagora - Mโ€™Hamid

      Travel by Land Cruisers along the trail of the thousand kasbahs of the Draa Valley. Lunch in Kasbah Asmaa in Zagora, then visit Tamgrout and continue to MHamid, where your encampment will be for dinner and overnight.

      Day 3: Mโ€™Hamid - Hamada Of Draa

      After breakfast, with a camel train taking our baggage and the Land Cruisers going ahead to set camp, we will walk in the Saharaโ€™s rhythm and the desertโ€™s silence for two to three hours. Lunch will be served in an oasis under a nomadic tent. Relax for mid-afternoon, then continue walking for the rest of the day to reach the encampment for the night; Tuareg tents will be pitched among the dunes on your behalf to experience a night under the stars that have guided our ancestors since the dawn of time.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Hamada Draa - Iriki

      Continue on our journey west to Iriki, tracing the footsteps of ancient caravan roads under the sheltering African sky.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Iriki Lake - Zaouia Sidi Abednbi

      Day 5: Iriki Lake - Zaouia Sidi Abednbi

      We walk in the morning to Zaouia Sidi Abd Nbi. The Zaouia is a Sufi sanctuary and retreat place to reach the station of isolation. Camp outside.

  • Day 6 Day 5: Zaouia Sidi Abdenbi - Seghro - Tinghir

      Day 5: Zaouia Sidi Abdenbi - Seghro - Tinghir

      After breakfast, you have the (optional) opportunity to be out in the desert on your own, within sight of our encampment until the following day. After that, we will take off to hike in Jbel Saghro, then overnight in Tinghir Todra Gorges. This will be a time to ask your questions in the presence of the great sky and sands and to know the profound nature of your being.

  • Day 7 Day 6: Tinghir - Marrakech

      In the morning, we shall come back together to share our experiences. After breakfast, we shall drive to Marrakesh. Arriving late. Hotel Almoravides

  • Day 8 Day 7: Marrakech

      Day 7: Marrakech

      Morning visit to Marrakech will include the Menara, a magnificent pool surrounded by flowers, reflecting the image of a beautiful Moorish construction built in 1866 for the dignitaries to enjoy glorious sunsets with the Atlas mountains as a backdrop. Also, the pool is a functional irrigation system for the surrounding areas. The visit will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia Minaret (the twin tower of la Giralda in Sevilla, Spain) and the Saadian tombs demonstrating Moorish architecture in its perfection. Other sites include The Museum of Dar Si Said, with the best display of Berber arts and crafts to be found; the remains of the Badii Palace, the Bahia Palace, the apogee of Moorish splendor, and the Mellah (Jewish quarter). Afternoon free. Farewell dinner in a Moroccan restaurant

  • Day 9 Day 8: Casablanca - Home

      Day 8: Casablanca - Home

      You will depart for Casablanca Airport in the morning, where you will board your flight back home with a lifetimeโ€™s worth of memories packed neatly into your suitcase.
