  • Day 1 Day 1: Marrakesh - Atlas Mountains - Ouarzazate - Boumalen Dades (300 Km, 6H Driving)

      Day 1: Marrakesh - Atlas Mountains - Ouarzazate - Boumalen Dades (300 Km, 6H Driving)

      We will start our adventure by picking you up from your Riad at 8:00 AM and hit the road! Check out the great views as we climb through the dramatic Tizi nโ€™Tichka pass which reaches an altitude of 2260 M. On route to Ouarzazate โ€œthe Hollywood of Africaโ€, we will journey through the High Atlas Mountains passing by Berber villages and beautiful landscapes. Once we are in Ouarzazate we will be enjoying lunch, maybe itโ€™s time to try some great local cuisine. Later on, drive through the โ€œRoad of the thousand Kasbahsโ€- and view the fascinating โ€œsand castlesโ€. Stop at Kalaat Mgouna, โ€œRoseโ€™s Kastelโ€ known for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May, and then continue to our hotel in the heart of the Dades Gorge, Dinner and night in the Hotel.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorgres - Erfoud - Merzouga (250 Km, 3H Driving)

      After breakfast in the hotel, we depart the Dades Gorges driving towards Tinhir and Todra Gorges. The alluring beauty of the lush palm grove along the valley have been known for the breathtaking views. Driving the windy, thin road will get our full attention as we get into the gorges which will allow you to get a full feel of the unbelievable glory of the massive canyon walls reaching some 300 meters (900 feet) high and continuing for some 100 meters (300 feet). During this travel day we will stop for lunch in a local restaurant before we will carry on to Erfoud where we will come across a fossil craft workshop. This area is also our door to the gorgeous Dunes of Erg Chebbi. Take a moment to soak it on all in while having a cup of tea before embarking on our camel ride through the stunning dunes. The clean air and the beautiful sunset will take your breath away and provide unforgettable moments before having a traditional dinner and overnight experience in a comfortable bivouac.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Draa Valley - Agdez - Ouarzazate (350 Km, 5H Driving)

      This morning will be an early one, you will rise up and hike up the dune in order to enjoy what may just be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you will hop on your camel and trek throughout the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes back to your hotel. After breakfast and a much needed shower at the hotel you will depart to Rissani. This is the ancient capital for the Alaouite Sultans and the most important market town for Sub-Sahara camel caravans, you will have a chance to visit the big Souk.

      We will continue our way to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley, one of the longest palm grove valleys in Morocco. Admire the charming adobe Kasbahs and Berber villages along the road. As we are heading up to Ouarzazate you will notice the interesting geological formations of the Draa Valley and Ait Saoun col. Get to our hotel early evening, dinner and night in the Hotel.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech (200 Km, 4H Driving)

      We will start with breakfast in our hotel before departing to visit Kasbah Taourirt, a magnificent structure and a historical monument giving tribute to the Glaoui. We then visit the Studio Cinema before getting into Ait Benhaddou Kasbah which is located 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate, Itโ€™s an infamous kasbah and the scene for many Hollywood hits, Films such as Gladiator, The Mummy and Alexander were filmed in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will spend some time exploring and having a great local lunch. We then carry on to Marrakech passing through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi ntichka. We arrive into Marrakech early for a relaxing night spent the Riad/Hotel.
