Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Stop At: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Welcome to Kathmandu Nepal. Asian Heritage Treks & Travel Representative welcome you at the Airport with your nameplate. After Arrival at Nepal airport, transfer you to the hotel. On the way Airport to Hotel, you will pass by the (Pashupatinath temple), Royal Palace Museum i.e. Narayanhity, Garden Of Dream and reach Thamel. Your hotel will be in downtown of Touristic Hub. Our representative will facilitate you and discuss your travel itinerary. There will be enough time to stroll through the street of Thamel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley- Kathmandu Durbar Square - Swayambhunath stupa - Pashupatinath Temple - Boudhanath Stupa

Stop At: Swayambhunath Temple, Swayamhu Circle Road, Kathmandu 44620 Nepal
Swayambhunath temple is also known as "Monkey Temple". This temple is located on the top of a hill, with the large stupa as main attraction. The stupa is reachable from two sides. Either by a long flight of stairs, or from the backside by road.

Stop At: Boudhanath Stupa, Boudh, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Boudhanath Stupa is the largest, and most important stupa in Nepal. Wander around at this magical location and behold buddhists from all over the world praying. Enjoy a refreshment or lunch at one of the rooftop restaurants overlooking the stupa. Learn about the history of this place from your local tour guide.

Pashupatinath is the most holy temple in Kathmandu for the Hindu religion. This temple is located along the river, where many open-air cremation ceremonies take place.

Once back in Thamel, it is time for a special activity. During a traditional Tibetan Momo (dumpling) cooking workshop, our local cook will teach you how to make this delicious snack. This activity is including a local dinner where ofcourse you can try your delicious creations.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara Drive Duration:5-6 hours

Stop At: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
Today, we will drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. On the way, you can enjoy the greenery around and beautiful hills. What attracts most visitors to Pokhara is the richness of the valley with its pure and natural beauty. Just imagine the joy of observing the majestic Himalayas, reflecting its shadow on Fewa Lake and the cleanness of Pokhara city. The Pokhara valley is equally outstanding, giving as they do elevated close-ups to the snowy peaks. Pokhara is famous for sightseeing, mountain views, and many adventurous outdoor activities.

Day 4: Pokhara to Kande & Trek to Pothana (2006 m) Driving Duration: 1 hour, Hiking Duration: 4/5 hours

Stop At: Pothana, Dhampus 33700, Nepal
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and your trekking program to Mardi Himal begins. You will enjoy a short drive to Kande through the countryside environment of Nepal. Kande is on the hilltop village located near to the touristic city, Pokhara. From Kande, you can see the beautiful view of the Himalayas in clear weather. Now, you will start walking to reach today's destination, Pothana. You will be walking through the beautiful villages. Once you reach Pothana, check-in to the lodge.

Day 5: Pothana to Forest Camp (2600 m) Hiking Duration: 5/6 hours

Stop At: Pothana, Dhampus 33700, Nepal
You will walk through the forest of red sandalwoods and rhododendrons and some pasture lands. Today, you have to walk through some flat land which is followed by a gentle climb up and descend as commencement of Mardi Himal Trek. On the way, you also have to walk through the dense forest. If the weather is clear, you will see the panoramic view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu and some other ranges.

Day 6: Forest Camp to Low Camp (2950 m) Hiking Duration: 3/4 hours

Stop At: Mardi Himal Low Camp, Lwang Ghalel 33700, Nepal
Continuing our trekking, we reach our destination i.e. Mohare Danda. The trail goes through beautiful forests of Oak and Rhododendrons with magnificent views of mountains such as Mt. Fishtail, south Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tukche and many more. In the evening, you will observe a glorious sunset view from Mohare Danda station and after completing your sight seen get back to eco-community management lodge.

Day 7: Low Camp to High Camp (3550m) Hiking Duration: 3/4 hours

Stop At: Hotel Fishtail Mardi High Camp, Lwang Ghalel 33700, Nepal
The trail further climbs along the ridge towards Mardi Himal and Mt Fishtail. Now, you will leave the tree line and arrive in the shrubby alpine zone. Snowcapped peaks of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Fishtail loom in a distance above the deep valley on either side. High camp is a small pasture after the climb. Here, you find yourself above the clouds and closer to snowcapped peaks.

Day 8: Explore Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m) Hiking Duration: 6/7 hours

Stop At: Mardi Himal Base Camp, Lwang Ghalel 33700, Nepal
Today, the trekking is more difficult than other days with a steep climb and long walk. The trail becomes more vertical at some points with uneven and steep rocky steps. The first steep climb will take about 2 hrs to the ridge top which is marked as MBC (Mardi Himal Base Camp). However, the real base camp will take about another 2 hrs along the ridge. The view is amazing all along the ridge. While Mardi Himal and Mt Fishtail appear right above you, view of Annapurna I, Gangapurna and Annapurna III also appear at a distance.

Day 9: Trek Back to Forest Camp (2600m) Hiking Duration: 3/4 hours

Stop At: Hotel forest Camp & Restaurant, Lumle 33700, Nepal
Today, you will return down to Forest Camp. Even though the scenery is stationary, season and sunlight make it different and interesting. You will spend some time in the Basecamp and enjoy watching the change that the sun rays bring to the place and surrounding areas. You will commence walking down to a forest camp after having breakfast. On reaching forest camp, you can spend your time resting or explore the surrounding areas of Forest Camp.

Day 10: Walk down to Lwang Village & drive back to Pokhara (827m) - Hiking Duration: 4 hours, Driving Duration: 1.5 hours

Stop At: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
You will have your breakfast and commence climbing down steeply through rhododendron and Maple forest to the permanent settlements closer to the valley basin to Lawang village. Lwang is a Gurung and Ghale village with a rich culture and happy people. The village is the best place to watch the Nepalese countryside lifestyle and enjoy organic food. The village farmers also grow organic tea in their meadow. The waterfall in the outskirt of the village offers one of the most exciting canyoning adventures. You will enjoy the Organic lunch served by the local people in Lwang village. After lunch, you will rest for some time and walk down to the Mardi River basin. Here, you will catch the vehicle and drive back to Pokhara. Check-in to the Hotel.

Day 11: Pokhara to Kathmandu, Driving Duration: 7/8 hours

Stop At: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
This day you will have a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, starting from Pokhara after breakfast. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will be then transferred to your respective hotel and have rest. In the evening, you can stroll around the downtown area in Thamel.

Day 12: Sightseeing tour around Patan and Bhaktapur

Stop At: Patan Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur) 44700 Nepal
Today, our guide will receive you and then drive you to Patan. You'll be driven to one of the ancient cities inside Kathmandu valley i.e. Patan Durbar Square for sightseeing. In Patan, you will be visiting other UNESCO World Heritage sites: Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Later on, visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about the history of Patan and the kings who reigned here. Later, visit the Golden Temple, a major attraction for both Hindu and Buddhist people, and Banglamukhi Temple.

Then after we will be visiting Bhaktapur, you will be amazed by the architecture, as until today the city has been able to be kept intact in its old form. You can observe the old wood carved buildings all around Bhaktapur and then you will visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Explore the surroundings and afterward visit the Nyatapola Temple, one of the biggest temples in Nepal. Stop At: Pottery Square, Bhaktapur 44800 Nepal
Here, you can also take the pottery making class using the traditional methods. You will visit the Pottery Square. Here, you can also take the pottery making class using the traditional methods. You will be taught to design your own pot and once you have your basic shape hammered out, you can even choose to adorn your creation with beautiful patterns and inscriptions.

Day 13: Departure

Pass By: Tribhuvan International airport, Sinamangal, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal
Your trip will come to an end today. You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our private van around 3 hours before your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination. Have a safe journey onward.
