Kruger & Victoria Falls 6 Days 5 Nights

Upon arriving at Maputo port, you will meet with our driver and guide at 8: 30am. Depart from Maputo to Thornhill Safari Lodge in Kruger National Park. On arrival, you are checked into your rooms before making your way to enjoy lunch. After lunch, there is some time to relax before departing on an afternoon/sunset safari drive. You can get a lot closer to the big game on game drives. All game drives are conducted in open 4 x 4 Land Rovers. No roof allows you 360-degree views, perfect for excellent photographic and video opportunities. On the afternoon drive, you will stop for sundowners. After sundowners, you’ll get to experience a night drive. Your tracker uses a powerful spotlight during the night drives to search for nocturnal animals. You can see a wide variety of animals not normally seen during the day. You return to the lodge to enjoy a well-prepared dinner which depending upon the weather, will be under the stars in the boma area. Night Game drives start at 4:30 pm.

Today, group one will leave for Livingstone to continue with the trip. Group 2, you will start your day on a morning safari drive, where you can encounter Africa’s Big Five, namely, lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, elephant, and an abundance of other wildlife and birds as we explore the game-rich Kruger National Park. Tea & coffee will be served during the morning drive. After the morning safari drive, you return to the lodge for breakfast. For the more energetic, each day after breakfast, there is the option of a morning bush walk. The walk is an opportunity to experience the bushveld at close quarters. Qualified rangers lead all walking safaris. Walking amongst wildlife allows you to immerse yourself in African smells and sounds full. Relax by the pool or in the main lodge area before lunch and your afternoon/sunset safari drive for those not so energetic. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.
