      Upon arrival at Mandalay InternationalAirport, welcome by our local guide and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the time is on your own leisure. Stay overnight in Mandalay.

      Breakfast at hotel. Mandalay is the last capital of Myanmar Kingdom before the annexation of British in 1885. The period of kingdom was very short, but the nameMandalay becomes well known by โ€œRudyard Kiplingโ€. The royal palace wall surrounded by the moat is one of the great things to see and it has been re-created after 1945, by 2nd War World.  After breakfast, weโ€™ll drive former capitals of Amarapuraand visit U Pain Bridge, the whole bridge done with entire wood.  After that , we will visit Mahagandayon Monastery is 11 kilometers from Mandalay, in the former Burmese capital of Amarapura. Around 10 in the morning over 1000 monks who live in the monastery come out to receive food from donors. Everything is planned, the monks are standing in 2 rows, volunteers distribute the food, the dining rooms are filled and they eat at the same time. And then, we will visit Mahamuni pagoda, one of the countryโ€™s most revered Buddha images which, over the years, has been covered with gold leaf for hundreds of layers. And then visit to Marble carving workshop and Gold- Leaf beating workshop. In the afternoon visit Shwe Nan Daw Monastery, Ku ThoDaw Pagoda and enjoy the sunset at Mandalay hill. Overnight inMandalay.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Mandalay โ€“ Heho โ€“ Inle Lake (B/L)

      Day 3: Mandalay โ€“ Heho โ€“ Inle Lake (B/L)

      Breakfast at hotel Transfer to airport for flight to Heho Upon arrival, we will drive to NyaungShwe, gateway to Inle Lake. Observe the leg-rowing fishermen and see their floating gardens built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Visit NgaHpeChaung Monastery, which houses dozens of Shan Buddha Images. Continue to PhaungDawOo Pagoda, the lakeโ€™s main sanctuary, which contains five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf.   Explore the local crafts of Inle Lake with a stop at the cheroot factory, where the typical Burmese cigars are made by hand. We can also visit a local silk weaving โ€˜factoryโ€™ which sits on stilts on the lake and where they still use old style hand looms.   If time permits, there may be time to enjoy a short walk through one of the lakeside villages.  Stay overnight in Inle Lake
