MONASTERY OF THE ESCORIAL T20 (4h)(40 EUR) You will have the opportunity to visit one of the most important monuments of Spain during the period of the Austrian dynasty. It is a construction made by the great King Felipe II, patron of great artists, during the period of maximum splendor of the Spanish empire. It is considered one of the constructions in major stones of the world, made in only 21 years during the S. XVI. A short time later it was considered as "the eighth wonder of the world" and later declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This construction is located 1028 m high on the mountain Abantos in the Sierra de Guadarrama in a place carefully chosen by a group of sages: astrologers, mathematicians, doctors, loaded with great spirituality and symbolism that we will enjoy during our visit. We will make a short walking tour of this picturesque place where we will reach the famous Mirador de San Nicolás from where you can see the Alhambra illuminated at dusk.
