    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 1: Pickup From Your Place In Thamel, Transfer To Domestic Aiport And Flight To Bhairawa And Drive To Lumbini

We will take a 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa, from whence we will drive for around 30 minutes to Lumbini. There, you will spend the entire day exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site, which was built according to a master plan covering an area of 6 km x 2 km. The trip begins in the New Tourist Village and ends at the World Peace Pagoda and Museum. Because these are sacred locations, the pilgrimage idea of the master plan is to promote Buddhism and purify the mind through the monastic zone. There are several monasteries there, and the monasteries of Mahayani and Teravadi Buddhism are scattered across the canon. Finally, we will go to the Mayadevi temple, which has long guarded the "Marker Stone" statue of the nativity scene and the remnants of old temple walls. Ashoka Pillar is another highlight of this visit. It exhibits the inscriptions that offer information about his visit to Lord Buddhaโ€™s birthplace.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Drive To Kapilvastu And Visit The Archeological Sites Of Tilaurakot, Gotihawa, Kudan, Niglihawa And Sagarhawa.
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 2: Drive To Kapilvastu And Visit The Archeological Sites Of Tilaurakot, Gotihawa, Kudan, Niglihawa And Sagarhawa.

We will go to Tilaurakot, Gotihawa, Kudan, Niglihara, and Sagarhawa to visit religious and archaeological sites. Tilaurakot is an ancient Kapilavastu that is also known as the Shakyasโ€™ capital. This is where Buddha spent the first 29 years of his life. Similarly, Kudan is an essential spot to visit in Lumbini since it is where Buddha was received by his father after attaining enlightenment. According to legend, King Suddhodana constructed the Kudan (Nigrodharma Park) specifically for the lodging of Buddha and his disciples. Similarly, Gotihawa is a must-see in Lumbini. Although Krakuchanda Buddha was born in Gotihawa, Kanakmuni Buddha was born at Niglihawa.Another holy site in Lumbini is Sagarhawa, which has archaeological artifacts and is also known as the "scene of the Shakya slaughter."

Stay at a hotel in Lumbini for the night.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Visit Devdaha-Ramgram And Flight Back To Kathmandu
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 3: Visit Devdaha-Ramgram And Flight Back To Kathmandu

Weโ€™ll travel to Devdaha and Ramagram to visit religious and archaeological sites. In ancient times, Devadaha was the capital city of the Koliya empire, and it is the maternal hometown of Queen Mayadevi (mother), Prajapati Gautami (Stepmother), and Princess Yasodhara (consort). This is the same location where Prince Siddhartha grew up. Ramagram, like Lumbini, is a significant site. Itโ€™s the brick mound on the Jharahi Riverโ€™s bank. It is a seven-meter-high brick stupa containing a relic (one of Lord Buddhaโ€™s eight astha dhatu). The stupas were erected by the monarch of Ramagrama, who was the ninth ruler to collect the Buddhasโ€™ relics. Weโ€™ll return to Kathmandu in the late afternoon and say our goodbyes there.
