Continue to Wat Xien Thong, probably the most beautiful monastery in Luang Prabang as well as the National Museum (Royal Palace). The former Royal Palace became the National Museum in 1975, there you will find some rooms preserved as they were last used by the royal family (closed on Tuesdays). Afterwards you will see Wat Mai.From Luang Prabang you will later go to Kuang Si Waterfalls, whose sinter terraces form a perfect natural scenery. As you continue, you will stop at Ban Xang Hai village, which is famous for its Lao Lao (rice whiskey). Afterwards, you'll visit Ban Muang Keo with its silk weaving and rice schnapps distillery, as well as the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong.
