Day 1: LUANG PRABANG ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR

Pass By: Luang Prabang, Luang Prabang, Luang Prabang Province
On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos.

Stop At: Wat Wisunarat, Luang Prabang, Laos
We visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mount Phousi, Main Street 5 Minutes Walk From The Tourist Information Center, Luang Prabang 0600 Laos
We then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.

Stop At: Luang Prabang Night Market, Sisavangvong Road, Alley Behind Lao National Tourism Office Old Quarter, Luang Prabang 0600 Laos
We explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by the hilltribe and local people surrounding Luang Prabang.

Day 2: LUANG PRABANG – CITY TOUR – PAK OU CAVES

Stop At: Royal Palace Museum, Haw kham Old Quarter, Luang Prabang 0600 Laos
We visit The National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through to the last sovereign.

Stop At: Wat Xiengthong, Khem Khong Old Quarter, Luang Prabang 0600 Laos
Explore some of the major sights in this faboulous city, including the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, its exterior architecture is remarkable with decorated guilded stuccoes and doorways, a “tree of life” mosaic pattern set in coloured glass on the back wall and its three tiered roofs sweeping low to the ground representing classical Laotian architecture.

Stop At: Pak Ou Caves, Near Pak Ou the Tham Ting Near the Village of Ban Pak Ou - Mekong River, Ban Pak-Ou 0603 Laos
We embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well as explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.

Stop At: Ban Pak-Ou, Ban Pak-Ou, Luang Prabang Province
We stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for its silk weavings and for its Saa (jute) Papermaking and Ban Phanom, a small village known for its hand weaving.

Day 3: LUANG PRABANG- KUANG SI WATER FALL

Stop At: Phosi Market, Phothisarath Road, Luang Prabang 0600 Laos
Visit the morning Phosi Market, where you will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village.

Stop At: Kuang Si Falls, Luang Prabang 06000 Laos
Drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall (Kuang si waterfall) where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Wat Phra Bat Tai, Chua Phat Tich Section 13 on 24 On the way to Kuang Si Waterfall, Luang Prabang 0600 Laos
We return to the city by late afternoon to observe the sunset at Wat Phabath.

Day 4: LUANG PRABANG – MORNING FLIGHT TO PAKSE – WAT PHOU – SI PHAN DON

Stop At: Luang Prabang, Luang Prabang, Luang Prabang Province
Free time until transfer to the airport for your flight Luang Prabang to Pakse.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Pakse, Pakse, Champasak Province
On your arrival in Pakse, meet your guide then leave Pakse and transfer to Champasak District.

Stop At: Vat Phou complex Temple - World Heritage, Champasak district - Southern laos, 17750 Laos
Visit the ruins of Wat Phou Temple Complex, one of Southeast Asia's most dramatically situated temples. We have time to explore these intriguing Khmer ruins, which are perched at the base of Mount Phu Kao. Wat Phu is one of the Lao World Heritage sites recognized by UNESCO in 2001, this wonderful archeological site of Khmer civilization dates back to the 9th century, predating the famous Angkor Wat in Cambodia. A festival of this site is held yearly during the full moon in February and attracts numerous pilgrims from all over southern Laos.

Stop At: Don Khong, Don Khong, Champasak Province
Continue your way to 4000 Islands Region and Khong Island, which is quite relaxing in the day while pretty at night. Rest of the day is in your hands. Being lazy on the beautiful beach might be a good choice.

Day 5: SI PHAN DON (4000 ISLANDS) SURROUNDING

Stop At: Don Khone Island, Don Khone Laos
We enjoy a visit to the surrounding countryside, and embark on a long tail boat tour to Don Khone, where we disembark and have the option of exploring the island by bicycle, which takes you to visit the remains of the French period and Liphi Waterfall or "the Corridor of the Devil".
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Khone Phapheng Falls, Don Khong 17750 Laos
We return to the mainland at the fishing village of Ban Nakasang and drive further south to visit Khone Phapheng. Khone Phapheng is considered the largest waterfall by volume in South East Asia; this is a really impressive site near the Lao-Cambodian border, set within an area which is teeming with wildlife, making this area one of the most breathtaking destinations in Laos. We also have the option of taking a local boat out to search for the rare freshwater dolphins that reside in this area of the Mekong (if lucky, we can see the dolphins). Then we drive back to Khong Island for your overnight stay.

Day 6: SI PHAN DON – PAKSE – DEPARTURE

Stop At: Pakse, Pakse, Champasak Province
You will have free time till our guide meets you and escorts you back to Pakse airport for your international flight ongoing to the next destination.
