  • Day 1 Day 1: London Arrival

      Day 1: London Arrival

      On your arrival, optional transfer to hotel. On reaching the hotel check-in, before heading for lunch in one of the quaint British pub. Depending upon your flight arrival time, you can make use of your 3 day Hop-on Hop-off pass and start your sightseeing by visiting St Paulโ€™s Cathedral, Tower Bridge and Tower of London. Later in the evening perhaps head to Leicester Square, popular for its theatres. This West End area is teeming with restaurants and bars, some of them offering live music and entertainment also. After dinner, return to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in London.

      Day 2: London Sightseeing

      A slightly early breakfast today to visit Trafalgar Square to see Nelsonโ€™s Column, utilizing your Hop-on Hop-off London bus tour pass. Walk your way up till the Buckingham Palace to see its grandeur from outside. However you do get to witness the "Changing of Guard" ceremony. After watching the iconic ceremony, itโ€™ll be time for lunch. Tuck in too much - no problem - head to St. Jamesโ€™ Park for a stroll and catching a nice view of the surrounding area from the top of one of the arched bridges. The Horse Guards Parade Ground lies near the east end of the park, and from here you enter into Whitehall to click a selfie with the famed expressionless guards. Just down Whitehall is 10 Downing Street, the residence of the Prime Minister. If you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the leader going or returning. 


      Then cross over to Westminster Abbey, known as a place for coronations, state funerals and burials of past monarchs, and even famous writers. The nearby area is also a good place to experience the typical British ritual of High Tea at a cafรฉ. Thereafter visit the iconic Big Ben. Interestingly, Big Ben is actually the huge bell atop the clock and the Clock Tower. Then cross over the Westminster Bridge for a ride on the famous London Eye ferris wheel to have unparalleled views of Londonโ€™s skyline. In case you are hungry for more, we can suggest an optional add-on cruise on the Thames river. Return to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in London.

      After English breakfast, hop-on to your London bus and expand your horizons by visiting the British Museum that displays over 10 million exhibits from around the world! Then head to Covent Garden for perhaps some shopping and lunch, and maybe catch a glimpse of some street performers. 


      Next is time for some art appreciation at the National Portrait Gallery, which displays drawings and sculptors, in addition to numerous portraits of famous personalities like William Shakespeare. To liven up the evening, head to the dazzle of Piccadilly Circus to see the Shaftesbury memorial fountain and statue of Eros. Have a drink or two, and dinner at a local pub to round of your London sojourn. Return to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in London.

      After breakfast at the hotel, head to the ferry port to catch ferry to Santorini. On arrival at Santorini ferry port, head for the tour of Caldera volcano. The tour is by boat on the natural lake formed around a volcanic area. The tour includes a local lunch, and just to make it special - you have lunch on the boat itself! Later head to the scenic Oia town, ending the tour while witnessing a picture-perfect sunset. Enjoy your evening tea, before heading to port to catch ferry back to Crete.
