Dover: See the iconic chalk-white coastline. So special that it’s had songs dedicated to it. Paris: Take a dreamy jaunt around the city of romance. Fall in love with landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, Champs Élysées and Notre-Dame Cathedral. Paris: Climb to the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower for an unbeatable vista of the ‘City of Light’. Fontainebleau: There’s your everyday châteaux and then there’s Château de Fontainebleau. The medieval palace was once home to Napoleon. And it’s another level of luxe. Beaujolais: Be a VIP at the epic Contiki Château and fill up on a banquet of classic French dishes and wines. Ooh la la! Barcelona: We’ll check out the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s world-renowned masterpiece. Work began on the church in the 1880s and while it was technically never finished, it’s still a wonder to behold. Nice: Your chance to learn the art of fragrance at a French perfume house. You know it makes scents! (soz). Venice: Speed across the lagoon to the aqueous island of Venice. Get total James Bond vibes. Florence: See the Duomo, Basilica Santa Croce, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery & Piazza della Signoria on a locally guided walking tour of Florence. Rome: Stroll around the Italian capital, ticking all the sights off your bucket list! Capri: Chill on the beaches of this Mediterranean jewel. Explore the famous boutiques then stop off for a Spritz in the sun. Mykonos: See the white-washed, blue-topped buildings in the island’s capital. Top up your tan and fill up your Insta feed. Ephesus: Grab your camera, it’s time for some bucket list ticking. See the Temple of Artemis and finally understand what all the fuss is about. Patmos: The sacred Greek isle of Patmos is home to a postcard-perfect scenescape, dominated by the fortress walls of this monastery. Rhodes: Soak up those laid-back island vibes and explore the citadel, see the site of an ancient world wonder and enjoy a beer in the sun. Crete: Grab your Contiki crew to see the landmarks. Then head to the harbour for drinks and live music in the sun. Tirana: Take an orientation around the rainbow-coloured Albanian capital with your Contiki gang. Familiarise yourself with the landmarks and best places to grab a coffee. Dubrovnik: Jump in the sparkling Adriatic Sea to cool off. Feel that freedom as you float about with your Contiki crew. This is why we travel! Dubrovnik: Stroll through the UNESCO-listed old town with a local guide. And play a game of ‘spot the Game of Thrones film set’ as you go. Plitvice Lakes National Park: Turquoise lakes. Sparkling waterfalls. Lush green forests. You’ll never want to leave this little slice of heaven. Ljubljana: Join your new gang for an orientation of Slovenia’s fairytale-like capital. Get your fix of rainbow architecture, Insta-friendly bridges and epic mountain backdrops. Lake Bled: Take it easy with your new besties as you walk around the scenic lake, framed by the Julian Alps. Munich: We'll make a stop at a traditional Bavarian ‘Bier Halle’. Grab your Contiki crew and a beer. Prost! Vaduz: Alpine mountains. Fairytale castles Lush greenery at every turn. Vaduz is like another world that has to be seen to be believed. Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site: Take a somber but impactful visit to the site of a World War II concentration camp in Munich. Lucerne: Check out the Wooden Chapel Bridge and the giant sandstone Lion Monument Sankt Goar: Take a scene glide down the river, past fairytale castles, Baroque spires and timbered German houses. Lorelei: It’s the stuff of legends. Literally. A singing mermaid named Lorelei is said to sit on the rock, enchanting fishermen before luring them to their demise. Eek! Edam: Explore all the windmills, canals and dikes on two wheels. Edam: Visit a clog maker and a cheese farm. It may be a cliché, but it’s so much fun we’re not even slightly apologetic.

All guests travelling with Contiki through December 31, 2022 are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, which may include a booster shot to keep the vaccination status current and valid, depending on the travel destination. Children not eligible for vaccination and/or booster at the time of travel must provide a verifiable and negative Covid-19 test result, taken within 72 hours prior to the start of the tour (taking time zones into consideration) for all tours departing until December 31, 2022. For guests travelling with Contiki from 1 January 2023, Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters are highly recommended, but no longer required. Please note that regardless of time of travel guests will need to comply with specific vaccine and/or booster requirements imposed by airlines and/or authorities in the destination visited, as well as requirements for accessing restaurants and venues, which may be more restrictive than above. It is guests’ responsibility to ensure that they comply at all times with these requirements. No refunds will be given if guests are unable to undertake some or all of their vacation due to their failure to comply with these requirements.
