Accommodation

13 nights' accommodation in twin rooms with private en-suite facilities. Single travellers have the option to pay a single supplement to ensure a private room. We use a variety of hotels in each of the destinations on this tour, hotels are selected closer to departure. Once booked, a confirmed list of hotels will be sent to you along with your Tour Leader announcement, 3-5 days prior to departure.

Flights

You will be responsible for booking your own international and/or domestic flights. We additionally recommend you do not book your airfare until your place on the tour is confirmed. Please make sure to check the times that your tour will start and end before booking your flights.

Optional excursions are not included in the tour cost. All optional excursions are booked on tour and paid in cash to your tour leader, unless stated otherwise. Please note, certain optional excursions are subject to availability and could change as a result. Some optional excursions need to be pre-booked, please contact us to find out more

Insurance

When you sign up for an Expat Explore tour, you are required to secure adequate travel insurance cover for the duration of your trip. If you cannot provide Expat Explore with proof of adequate travel insurance prior to the start of your tour, you will not be permitted to embark on day one. The requirements include the following coverage: Trip Interruption Trip Delay Medical Expenses Quarantine Expenses and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation The insurance must also cover medical costs and a medically imposed quarantine if the insured or someone the insured has come into contact with, tests positive for COVID-19.       Welcome to London and the first day of the Classic Europe tour! Arrive at the hotel this morning and meet up with the Tour Leader and tour group. The adventure starts with a city tour of London. Tick seeing landmarks such as Tower Bridge and St Paulโ€™s Cathedral off of your travel bucket list before free time for lunch in central London! Then, arrive in Westminster; this borough is home to the iconic Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Wave to the royal family from the gates of Buckingham Palace before taking in more highlights of London as the group travels to a local pub for an included welcome dinner! This is the perfect chance to get to know your new travel buddies and try some classic British pub cuisine!

      Day 2: London - Paris

      This morning, itโ€™s time to travel from London to Paris. Cross the English Channel and travel through to the French capital. Arrive and enjoy a driving tour of โ€œThe City of Lightsโ€ which showcases the cityโ€™s best landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and more! In the evening, sit down for a group dinner at a restaurant in the city. This is the perfect time to plan what youโ€™d like to see on tomorrowโ€™s free day. Be sure to get some rest tonight - there is a full day of travel adventure waiting to be enjoyed tomorrow!

      The wonderful thing about Paris is that there is so much to experience, regardless of the time of day, or season! Explore on your own and soak up the city or join a full day of exploration in Paris! The Paris excursion showcases the iconic sights and experiences this city is famous for including the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-ร‰lysรฉes, Opรฉra Garnier and more! A macaron tasting and perfume museum tour are included too. You will also cruise down the River Seine with an included lunch and get a birdโ€™s eye view of the city from the Montparnasse Observation Deck. In the evening, choose to join an evening tour of the beautiful Montmartre area and watch a fabulous cabaret show!
