Flights

      Welcome to London and the first day of the Classic Europe tour! Arrive at the hotel this morning and meet up with the Tour Leader and tour group. The adventure starts with a city tour of London before enjoying an included British roast lunch at a local pub. Up next is the iconic Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace! This evening, join your tour leader on an orientation tour of Brick Lane before enjoying free time at Spitalfields Market. If Victorian history and true crime fascinates you, choose to join our unmissable, immersive Jack The Ripper private tour which includes a drink at the famous Ten Bells pub.


      London Guided Tour: See London’s top sights and learn more about its history on a guided city tour! London is home to rich history, royal relics and buzzing modern areas! See some of the city’s most popular boroughs and keep an eye out for iconic landmarks. Plus, enjoy an included tour of Westminster - this borough is home to London icons such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the Palaces of Westminster. You’ll also get to tick “See Buckingham Palace” off your bucket list!

      Lunch in a traditional British pub: This afternoon, enjoy an included welcome lunch at a historic local pub, where you can try a typical British roast! Vegetarian options are available.

      This morning, it’s time to travel from London to Paris. Cross the English Channel and travel through to the French capital. Arrive and enjoy a driving tour of “The City of Lights” which showcases the city’s best landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and more! In the evening, sit down for a group dinner at a restaurant in the city. This is the perfect time to plan what you’d like to see on tomorrow’s free day. Be sure to get some rest tonight - there is a full day of travel adventure waiting to be enjoyed tomorrow!


      Driving tour of Paris: See the highlights of this famous travel destination on a driving tour of Paris. Arrive in the city and set off. See the Eiffel Tower, the River Seine, the Tuileries Gardens,  lโ€™Île de la Cité, the Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, the Lovers Bridge, Sacré Coeur, Montmartre, Pigalle (the Red Light District) and the Moulin Rouge!

      The wonderful thing about Paris is that there is so much to experience, regardless of the time of day, or season! Explore on your own and soak up the city or join a full day of exploration in Paris! The Paris+ excursion showcases the iconic sights and experiences this city is famous for including the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, Opéra Garnier and more! A macaron tasting and perfume museum tour are included too.       Au revoir Paris! Today, it’s time to sample a taste of small-town France with a lunch stop in Burgundy. Explore the town of Beaune and visit the beautiful Hospices de Beaune or try wine that the region is famous for! After lunch, take a long scenic drive across the border into Switzerland and head towards the Swiss Alps. Admire the alpine forests, beautiful lakes and dramatic mountains! Arrive in the Swiss Alps - home for the next two days!


      Visit Beaune in Burgundy: Enjoy a stop in Beaune, a UNESCO World Heritage site and famous wine-producing region. Take some free time to explore the beautiful medieval town centre and try some local food and wine.

      Scenic Swiss Mountain Drive: Admire the spectacular views as the coach drives through mountain passes and alongside lakes, breathtaking mountain vistas and scenic views of quaint Swiss towns.

      It’s a guaranteed snow day! For 365 days of the year Jungfraujoch is covered in snow. Your tour leader can arrange a full-day optional excursion to the “Top of Europe” - see the spectacular glacier and enjoy the incredible views! The journey up the mountain is a highlight in itself, providing panoramic views of mountains, lakes and glaciers. Alternatively, spend the day exploring at a lower altitude. Explore the local town, enjoy sight-seeing, souvenir shopping and donโ€™t miss your chance to indulge in Swiss chocolate! Spend your free day wandering and breathing in that crisp, fresh, Alpine air! Join the optional Swiss dinner tonight to tuck into traditional Swiss food!

      Continue the journey through the beautiful Tuscan region. Today’s first stop is Florence. Enjoy an orientation tour of this captivating Renaissance city that is famous for its art and history. Then, visit a leather making workshop and watch expert local craftsmen at work before enjoying some free time to explore this enchanting city on your own. Alternatively, join the optional excursion and delight in a delicious family-style Tuscan lunch. Following Florence is Italy’s capital city - Rome! Arrive and enjoy free time to explore this fascinating and ancient city. Meet up with the group in the early evening and enjoy an included dinner.


      Orientation tour of Florence: Explore this historic city which is famous for its Renaissance art with your tour leader today. See highlights such as the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Della Signoria, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the replica statue of Michelangelo’s David.

      Today is a free day for you to experience Romeโ€™s ancient history, exquisite culture and delicious food. You also have the option of joining our โ€™Conquer the Capitalโ€™ excursion, seeing sights including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, and enjoying a delicious lunch and gelato tasting. Alternatively, explore on your own and visit the Vatican City to explore the smallest country in the world and see the famous Sistine Chapel (don’t forget to look up and marvel at the famous ceiling painted by Michelangelo!).

      Enjoy the marvellous diversity of the Italian landscape as the tour travels onwards to Venice! Keep an eye out for the world-famous St. Marks Square, Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. The evening is yours to wine and dine as you wish.       Guten Tag! It’s time to travel to Germany. Today’s final destination is Munich, the vibrant capital of Germany’s Bavaria region. But first, enjoy a stop and orientation tour in Innsbruck, Austria! Visit the Golden Roof Museum and marvel at the Gothic architecture before enjoying free time for lunch. Next, continue to Munich. While Munich is most well known for being home to Oktoberfest, the city has a long, storied past filled with a fascinating history. Enjoy an orientation tour with your tour leader to see the highlights and learn more about the modern and ancient history of this city. Tuck into dinner in a traditional German beer hall this evening!


      Discover Innsbruck: Embark on an orientation tour of Innsbruck, the capital of Austriaโ€™s western region of Tyrol. Visit the Golden Roof Museum, marvel at the Gothic architecture of St. Jakob Cathedral, admire the Imperial Palace and stroll Maria-Theresien Strasse for a variety of shopping, cafes and restaurants!

      Munich orientation tour: Explore Munich with your tour leader on an orientation tour. Learn more about this wonderful German city and see highlights like Karlsplatz and Marienplatz.

      Dinner in a German beer hall: Say prost and eat and drink like the locals do in a traditional German beer hall. Try classic German cuisine and sip on German beer.

      The German adventure continues this morning! Head towards the enchanting Rhine Valley. Arrive in one of the most picturesque areas along the Rhine River and enjoy a stunning cruise along the Rhine River. This part of the valley is home to the most concentrated stretch of castles in Europe! Take in the views of the striking cliffs, medieval castles and historic vineyards along the river banks. The cruise ends in Boppard, a UNESCO World Heritage town known for its incredible wine. Sample some of this excellent wine and learn about the Rhine Valley varietals with an included tasting. Finally, check into the hotel for the evening and enjoy an included dinner.


      Rhine River Cruise: Hop aboard and enjoy a cruise along the Rhine River in Germany. This area is home to truly breathtaking scenery, take it all in and learn about the history of this marvellous region of Germany as you cruise. See Gothic castles including Sterrenberg, Liebestein, Katz and Fortress Rheinfels.

      Rhine Valley wine tasting: Visit a local wine merchant in one of Germany’s most famous wine-growing regions, and sample several types of delicious German wine. If the harvest has been good, you may even get to try eiswein (ice wine), a very sweet dessert wine that is produced in very small quantities as it can only be harvested when the temperature drops below freezing.

      Bid Auf Wiedersehen to Germany this morning as the tour makes its way to the Netherlands! Stop in the Dutch countryside and learn about some of the country’s most famed local products. Taste delicious Dutch cheese and discover how traditional clogs are made. Then, visit the Riekermolen Windmill for some memorable photos! Then, it’s time to explore Amsterdam, the vibrant capital of the Netherlands. Get acquainted with the city’s highlights on a canal cruise. Relax while sightseeing from the water and learning more about Amsterdam as you cruise. Enjoy some free time before tonight’s dinner which is at a local restaurant.


      Cheese and clogs demonstration: See how these famous shoes are traditionally made by hand, and taste a variety of fantastic Dutch cheese. Purchase some unique and authentic Dutch souvenirs during the visit!

      Amsterdam canal cruise: 
      Cruise through Amsterdam’s iconic canals. The city is famous for its waterways. Enjoy a unique way of sightseeing while you admire the city’s top landmarks from the water.

      Day 13: Amsterdam - Bruges - London

      Say farewell to Amsterdam as the tour continues. Today’s first stop is in the medieval city of Bruges, in Belgium. Enjoy free time in the city; take a stroll along cobblestone streets, admire the historic buildings, stock up on Belgian chocolate or indulge in a Belgian waffle (or two). After Bruges, it’s time to continue the last leg of the journey back to London. Cross the English Channel and arrive back in London towards the end of the day. Tonight, choose to end the tour on a festive note with an optional farewell dinner at a local curry house on the famous Brick Lane!


      Visit Bruges: Enjoy a stop and some free time in Bruges. This beautiful medieval city is home to well-preserved historic buildings, picturesque canals and quaint cobblestone lanes! Belgium is also famous for its beer, chocolate and waffles so be sure to sample some (or all!) while you visit.
