The safety of our guests and staff is a top priority, and we are monitoring the evolving Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation closely. All of our guides are fully vaccinated to protect their safety and the safety of all visitors. We are taking recommended prevention and response measures, including: โ€ขOur Tour Guides will wear a mask throughout the tour and gloves when sanitizing, taking temperatures, opening/closing doors, and providing sanitizer to guests. โ€ขGuides will take their temperatures frequently to monitor for fever and will not work if they are sick. After an illness, a guide can return to work after receiving a negative test for COVID-19 or having no fever for 14 days. โ€ขBefore leaving our dispatch, each Tour Guide will ensure that all surfaces in the vehicle are appropriately sanitized and wiped down. โ€ข Before any guest enters the vehicle at their pickup location, our Tour Guide will use a non-contact thermometer to ensure that anyone with a fever or anyone traveling with others who have a fever (temperature must be less than 100.4ยบF (38.0ยบC)) do not enter the vehicle. โ€ขThe front seat will be off-limits to guests. โ€ข If a guest jeopardizes the health and safety of another guest, a guide, or a partner employee or customer (e.g., refuses to wear a mask, refuses to abide by social distancing guidelines, etc.), they will be removed from the tour, and no refund will be issued. โ€ขDuring the excursion, our Tour Guides will be the only individuals to open and close the vehicleโ€™s doors. โ€ขGuests will wear a mask for the duration of the tour, except in locations where masks are not required. Guests are required to supply their masks. Guests without masks will not be allowed to take the tour, and no refund will be given. Guests under age five or medically compromised will not be required to wear a mask per CDC guidelines. Children ages five and over are required to wear a face covering. โ€ขGuests will refrain from physical contact with our guide, other guests not in their party, partner staff, or other patrons while maintaining 6-foot social distancing guidelines. โ€ขAt each stop, when guests exit the vehicle, our Tour Guide will use sanitary wipes to disinfect commonly touched areas inside the vehicle. โ€ขUpon returning to the vehicle, our Tour Guide will provide hand sanitizer or wipes for each customer. โ€ขAt the end of each tour, all surfaces inside the vehicle will be sanitized and wiped down. โ€ขWe will limit the number of guests on our tours to 8. โ€ขWe are expanding our communications about our refund policy to ensure anyone who is not feeling well will receive a full refund for the tour is canceled. โ€ขOur leadership team will continue actively monitoring the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and OHA and implement best practices accordingly. When you place your reservation, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and home address so that if we receive notification that a guest has tested positive for COVID-19, we can contact all other guests on that tour.   • Day 1 Arrival At Kathmandu Airport And Hotel Transfer

      Arrival At Kathmandu Airport And Hotel Transfer

      You will land at Kathmandu airport, and a team from Peregrine Treks and Expedition will reach you before your landing to pick you up. They will facilitate a quick and hassle-free hotel transfer to your hotel. Youโ€™ll check into the hotel after reaching there, and our members will wave you goodbye. Lay on the bed for rest after long hours of air travel. Later, you get welcomed by the Peregrine team, including the guides for your expedition. 

  • Day 2 Trek Preparation

      Trek Preparation

      This is the day dedicated to your preparation for the long expedition of Lobuche Peak. You will attend a trip briefing meeting to learn everything about the itinerary. You will also meet your trekking and mountaineering guides to know each other. Your guide will provide clear information about the climbing gear for the Lobuche peak ascend. After the meeting, you will wander around shopping places to buy necessary things before you fly to Lukla the next day.

      Fly To Lukla And Trek To Phakding

      And the day has come to a head towards the home of Lobuche Peak, Khumbu (Everest) region. You will hop into the aircraft, taking just 40 minutes to drop you in the Lukla. The air time will be pretty scenic, where you will find the entire Himalayas just out of the plain window. Your entry to the gateway of Everest will be welcomed by the locals of Lukla at Tenzing Hillary Airport(2800m).

      After the quick welcome rest at Lukla, you will head into the woods to reach Phakding. After passing through several settlements, you will head side by side with Dudh(Milk) Koshi River. Ghat(Bank) of Dudh Koshi river has a nicely painted Mani wall; you will pass through it and a forest of rhododendrons and pines. From the riverbed of Dudh Koshi, there are a few uphills and downhills to reach Phakding.

      Note: As per the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, the Lukla flight will be from Ramechhap instead of Kathmandu. So, we will provide Kathmandu to Ramechhap and Ramechhap to Kathmandu transportation.

      Trek From Phakding To Namche Bazaar

      Your first day has gone well; it is time for another similar trekking day. On this day, you will stretch out to reach the hub of the Everest region, Namche Bazaar(3446m). While trekking today, you will cross many suspension bridges colored with prayer flags and gompas. After leaving Phakding behind, you will sail ahead via scenic trails of the Everest region. The trekking will become more and more fun with every step ahead. You will pass major Sherpa settlements like Bengal and Monjo today. Monjo village is the entrance to a UNESCO world heritage site, Sagarmatha National Park.


      Still a few km to reach Namche, you will receive glimpses of Mt Everest, Lhotse, and other high peaks of the Khumbu region. Moving forward through several ups and downs comes the final ascent to reach Namche Bazaar. As you may know, Namche is the most happening place in the entire Khumbu region. Arrive there and explore the town.

      Heading straight to the higher areas without acclimating your body to new heights raises the chances of altitude sickness. 

      So, staying around Namche before heading higher towards Lobuche Peak is better. On this day, you will be hiking around Namche and near attractions. Namche Bazaar is a big market with many shops, restaurants, cafes, and some museums to explore.


      A hike to the Everest View Hotel is another option while your body starts acclimatizing. This hotel is one of the highest places in the world and sits at an altitude of 3,880m. As its name suggests, this hotel will serve an exquisite view of Mt Everest and other peaks while you enjoy your lunch. After that, you will return to the lodge of Namche for a nightโ€™s stay.

  • Day 6 Trek From Namche Bazaar To Tengboche

      Trek From Namche Bazaar To Tengboche

      After a beautiful time around Namche, it is time to leave it behind to reach Tengboche. You will start the trek by descending through Namche towards Ohunki. All over the route, you will be rewarded with white mountain views, including Everest and Ama Dablam. You will reach Phunki Tenga after some hours of easy downhill trekking. Then after trekking for more hours, youโ€™ll start to see the largest monastery in the region, Tengboche Monastery.


      This monastery offers a blessing to every adventurer that walks through Tengbocheโ€™s trail. Decorated with many colorful flags and prayer wheels from outside, this monastery hosts incredible views of mountains in the north. Everest, Lobuche, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and many other peaks are glanceable in sight from here. Not only that, but you can also celebrate a time being at one of the largest Sherpa settlements.

  • Day 7 Trek From Tengboche To Dingboche

      Trek From Tengboche To Dingboche

      Youโ€™ll wake up with morning prayers of the Tengboche monastery, and what a blissful morning that will be. After breakfast, you will kick off the trails to reach Dingboche. The trek will be through lush rhododendron trees, conifers, and mountain views from a distance. Following the forest, you will descend to reach the river bed of Imja Khola.


      And trekking over the Imja Khola via a bridge, you head up a sloping trail to the Pangboche. You will take a break to explore the Pangboche village, which also has a famous Pangboche Monastery. From the village, you will get visions of various Everest region mountains. After that, you move to Dingboche through Imja valley near Lobuche River. Heading up from the riverbank arrives Dingboche.

  • Day 8 Dingboche Rest And Explore Nagarjun Peak, 5000M.

      A day of rest is well-deserved. So instead of hiking the trail, weโ€™ll relax in the village. To make the day productive and acclimatize, weโ€™ll go on a trip to Nagarjun.

      The whole idea of acclimatization is to walk higher and sleep lower. So after having breakfast, weโ€™ll leave for the trek to Nagarjuna Peak. Weโ€™ll ascend steep hills with rocks and boulders, challenging the trek.

      After hiking for 2-3 hours, weโ€™ll finally get to Nagarjuna, one of the major tourist attractions in the Sherpa Valley. It has a magnificent view of lofty mountains, steep-sided valleys, and rocky hills. Down the peak is a small settlement, mainly lodges and guest houses to accommodate hikers.

      Weโ€™ll get back to the trail and walk down to the village. On the way back, we can see many ancient Tibetan monasteries and Chortens, which look stunning. Overnight stay in the tea house.

  • Day 9 Trek From Dingboche To Lobuche

      Trek From Dingboche To Lobuche

      Youโ€™ll start the 8th dayโ€™s trek of the Lobuche Peak Climbing with a plan to reach Lobuche before nightfall. Now altitudes have reached around 5,000m, and this trekking part can be more complex than in the past. You will move through a rough and steep trail to arrive at Duglha. One more steep climb takes you toward Chuki Lahara.


      Then from Lahara, you will enjoy walking forward by memorial stupas for the lost ones. Now it will be a walk over the moraines of the Khumbu Glaciers to make it to Lobuche village. This village is the nearest settlement to Lobuche peak, and from there, you can look at various high peaks, including Lobuche peak.

      Trek To Gorekshep And Then Trek To Everest Base Camp, Explore Ebc And Trek Down To Gorakshep.

      After breakfast, our journey continues following flat meadows. Shortly after, we head northward, following Khumbu Glacier. Climbing onto the lateral moraine, we land Gorak Shep. We get panoramic views of snow-clad peaks and Khumbu Glacier on the way.


      We get our lunch. Subsequently, we head towards Everest Base Camp leaving our backpacks there. Gradually walking upward via the moraine of Khumbu Glacier, we reach our most awaited destination-EBC.


      One shall get vivid panoramic views of mount Khumbuste, mount Pumori and mount Nuptse keeping Mt. Everest in the background. Standing here, trekkers get the mixed sensation of shifting emotions that a dream has come true.


      With the mesmerizing view of Khumbu Icefall, we capture some charming views. After spending some time on the base of the tallest peak in the world, we get back to Gorak Shep.

  • Day 11 Hike To Kalapatthar And Trek To Lobuche Base Camp.

      This is the day you head towards Lobuche Peak; We will hike up to Kalapatthar at 5555 meters Approx. Kalapatthar, which takes two hours or less, has the Best view of Mt. Everest and many more, Lhotse, Nuptse. , Youโ€™ll aim to reach Lobuche Base Camp on time. After down from Kalapathar, The Gorakshep-Lobuche Base Camp trail is a steep and rough track to walk over. Youโ€™ll push yourself following the footsteps of your guide. Then mid-way, you will see the glacier made from Lobuche Peak with bright mountain views above the glacier ground.


      After rooting for the Base camp for 5 to 6 hours from Gorakshep, you finally reach Lobuche Base Camp. There are no teahouses from the Lobuche village, so it is time to set up a tent. Your assisting companions will do that for you, and it will be the first night of a more than a billion-star roofed night.

  • Day 12 Trek To Lobuche High Camp

      You will move closer to the Lobuche summit by leaving for Lobuche High Camp from the Base Camp. While trekking, you will feel a change in the trailsโ€™ nature as they have become steeper and rougher. The trek duration is low, around 3 to 4 hours, but the slope is the thing that will make it long. Your team members will install a tent where you can take a rest.

      Later around the afternoon, your climbing guide will present some climbing skills and gear usage tips and tricks. This will make you competitive for tomorrowโ€™s big day, Lobuche Peak Climbing. After that, you will have enough sleep after lunch as you have to start early in the morning.

  • Day 13 Summit And Trek Back To Pheriche.

      Summit And Trek Back To Pheriche.

      The sole goal of climbing Lobuche Peak will get accomplished today. Your breakfast will be ready quicker than before as you must start the climb early. You will approach the southern ridge through steep and ice tracks. The ropes, crampons, and ice axes will finally come to use. With the assistance of your guide, you will head upward on the technical parts of Lobuche Peak. After climbing the last part, i.e., 45 degrees sloped hill, you will be at the summit point of Lobuche East.


      Your heart will pump out with the joy of climbing success. Your celebration will become more happening with the vast panorama of the Everest region. The whole Everest region is viewable from the summit of Lobuche peak, and that eyeshot will make you realize the trip is worth every pain. After a glorious time of your life at the Lobuche summit, you will descend towards the high camp of this peak. We will trek Pheriche, and we will see the condition of our bodies.

  • Day 14 Trek To Namche.

      Following the way we ascended, we headed back to Jorsalle, Manjo, Benkar, Phakding, and finally Lukla. We cross many suspension villages, rocky trails, and diverse terrains. Sharing our experiences of the journey, we reach Lukla. After hotel check-in, our leader processes for flight. We relax our bodies with some refreshment drinks. Enjoy the last night in the lap of the Himalayas.

      This may feel sad, but the final day of Lobuche Peak climbing has finally arrived. You will head into the early flight to Kathmandu after breakfast. It will take around 40 minutes to land in Kathmandu. But before you land, look outside through your plain windows to see the great mountains of Nepal for the last time until your next trip.

      That way, you will never know when you will have 40 minutes left and land at Kathmandu airport. The hotel transfer team will already have arrived at the airport to pick you up. You will get a trouble-free hotel drop to reach your hotel.
