SINTRA CASCAIS AND ESTORIL GM T20 (4hrs)(30 EUR) In this visit, you will enjoy the landscapes of the Tagus estuary, the famous Costa del Sol, a resting place and residence of nobles in the history of Portugal. We will stop at the wonderful city of Sintra, immortalised by Lord Byron, and enjoy its microclimate and its many palaces and summer homes. We will continue to the famous Guincho beach where you will see the westernmost point in Europe, the Cabo da Roca, and we will stop in the beautiful city of Cascais. Afterwards, we will have a brief stop in Estoril with its famous casino. LOUVRE MUSEUM GM T20 (1h 30min)(50 EUR) This museum, besides being the best-known gallery in the world, brings together admirable archaeological and sculptural works. Due to the large size of this museum and its huge number of works of art we suggest you take a guided tour that will allow you to see some of the most important works of its interior. Our selective tour will take you from the medieval Louvre, Egyptian Sphinx, Greco-Roman sculptures, including the famous Venus del Milo, summer apartments of Anne of Austria and Cardinal Mazarin, until you reach the Victory of Samothrace. We will also visit the part of western painting, the primitive Italians: Cimabue and Ghiotto, following by the Grande Galería where at this moment we can see "The Virgin of the Rocks" by Leonardo da Vinci. Next, we will admire "The Wedding of Cana" by Verones and the most famous painting of the "La Gioconda" museum. Another part of the museum that we will have the opportunity to see with our guide is the Gallery of French Painting, where we can see "The raft of the jellyfish" by Gericault, "Liberty guiding the people" by Delacroix, "The coronation of Napoleon " from David. Next, we will go to the Apollo Gallery where we will find goldsmith objects and some of "the Crown Jewels", the Gallery of the Guards, where we will find Etruscan and Roman jewels. WINDSOR CASTLE T20 (5hrs)(25 EUR) One of the most impressive and best preserved castles in the United Kingdom, the Queen’s favourite residence. Following the Thames Valley, we will leave London behind crossing the countryside until arriving in the historic town of Windsor whose architecture is immersed in the atmosphere of the Tudor, Georgian and Victorian styles. We will visit the famous Eton College, founded in 1440 for poor children and, today, one of the most exclusive and traditional in the country where the princes of England study. We will visit the castle from the outside. It has always been the residence of the English Crown and it is intimately connected with the history of this country.
