> Departure at 08:30 AM Passing it to look for the Perito Moreno Glacier, located inside the National Park Los Glaciares.Es an impressive river of ice with a surface of 195 km2; a length of 30 km and its front has an extension of 5,5 km .; the height of the walls oscillates between 40 and 80 m. on the level of the lake. It descends from the continental ice, causing in its slow progress detachments and outbursts, very attractive for the visitor. For its spectacular beauty it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When arriving at destination, we will make a walk along the catwalks from where we can admire this imposing Natural attraction from its different perspectives and through the different panoramic balconies. The estimated time on footbridges is 2 hours and a half. - Optional activity: Minitrekking Transfer from the hotels to Los Glaciares National Park. The excursion begins at the port "Bajo de las Sombras" approximately 6 km. before the Mirador del Glacier, where you embark to cross Lago Rico, arriving at the southwest coast after approximately 20 minutes of navigation in front of the southern wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier. After disembarking, you access the refuge, where the guides organize the groups that are each made up of up to 20 people. Then begins a walk along the shore of the lake for approximately 20 minutes to the glacier. Upon reaching the edge of the ice, the guides place the crampons on the participants, who receive instructions on how to move on the ice. The tour on the glacier takes approximately 1:30 hours, and during the course of it you will be able to appreciate a variety of ice formations such as: cracks, seracs, sinkholes, small lagoons, etc. The walk is moderate. The ice surface on which you walk is uneven, but firm and safe. explanations will be received about the flora, fauna and general glaciology of the region as well as the particular phenomenon that occurs in the P.
