Depending on the time of your arrival in Lima (preferably in the morning to be able to do the city tour in the afternoon) a Waman Adventures representative will be waiting with a sign with your name at the Jorge Chavez International Airport. Then you’ll be transferred to your respective hotel. After settling in our hotel and rest, we will start the city tour: Lima and its surroundings.

The tour starts with your pick-up from the hotel between 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Tour begins with a panoramic view of the "Pucllana Pyramid" or "Huaca Pucllana," considered a "Sacred Town" by the Incas.

Then, we will visit the Historical Center of Lima, designated by UNESCO as a place of Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 1991. Place where we will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the "Paseo de la República," San Martin Square, Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Municipal Palace, among others.

After that, we will go to the Monumental Complex of San Francisco, which is the most significant sample of colonial religious art in America where we will visit its underground crypts known as "Catacombs".

We will also know the best known residential areas of Lima, the Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores, and Larcomar.

Once the tour finished, we’ll return to your hotel.

Day 2 Paracas, Ica Y Huacachina With Buggies And Sandboarding

Paracas, Ica Y Huacachina With Buggies And Sandboarding

Our tour begins with your pick-up from your hotel between 04:30 to 05:00 am, we will go to the Paracas peninsula to visit the Ballestas Islands (a National Reserve) that houses a large number of animals: Humbolt penguins, guana birds, sea lions, pelicans, etc. On the way to the Ballestas Islands, we can appreciate the Candelabrum (a mysterious geoglyph of giant dimensions). Around the crossbow islands, we will see the sea lions in their natural habitat, who love to approach the tourist boats and jump around. This is a show, which in itself, fully justifies the visit.

We will continue the trip to the city of Ica arriving to know the wine culture in a demonstration with wines and traditional pisco of this valley. After this activity, we will taste a typical local lunch according to the menu of the day.

After lunch, we will go for approximately 30 minutes to the oasis of Huacachina. In this beautiful Oasis surrounded by desert, there will be a ride full of adrenaline in tubular (buggies), and you can also do the activity of sandboarding (sliding on boards).

After this last visit, you will have free time to walk freely through the Oasis, take a boat ride, take photos, buy handicrafts or, if time favors us, appreciate a colorful sunset.

After this great adventure, and after taking numerous photographs, we will return to Lima in our private transportation.

We will arrive in Lima between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. approximately.

Day 3 Arrival In Cusco

According to your flight schedule in Cusco, a Waman Adventures representative will be waiting for you at the Cusco Airport with a sign where your name will be written, then you will be transferred to your respective hotel.

After a 15-20 minute trip to the city center, you will be installed in your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to rest and acclimatize to the altitude of the city and enjoy a delicious coca tea.

Day 4 Chinchero, Maras & Moray

Chinchero, Maras & Moray

This day begins our adventure through the incredible landscapes of Cusco. We will start with your pick-up from the hotel between 08:00 to 08:30 am, then we’ll go to the colorful town of Chinchero, where we will find Inca wall constructions and its small Church Colonial that awaits a lot of history. Also, we will participate in the elaboration of the Andean fabrics in a textile interpretation center, where our brothers from the town of Chinchero will show us their ancestral art.

After this fascinating experience, we will continue with our adventure towards the famous circular cultivation terraces in Moray. There, our ancestors, the Incas, experimented to find out the type of product for each altitudinal floor.

Continuing our journey, we will descend towards the Salt mines in Maras (a picturesque place with spectacular landscapes). Here, we will visit the more than 3000 wells of salt. The Incas used this salt for their consumption.

Finally, we will go to the Ollantaytambo station to take the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (the closest town to Machu Picchu). In Aguas Calientes, we will rest and regain strength for the spectacular next day.

Day 5 Visit To Machu Picchu Inca Citadel

Visit To Machu Picchu Inca Citadel

This day will be one of the best as we will visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World: Machu Picchu. Therefore we will take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu; then we will register with our entrance tickets and our passport.

Our tour guide will provide you with all the information and will take you through the best-known sites of the Inca citadel during 02 hours of on-site guidance. You will enjoy the Historical Sanctuary in all its splendor while capturing spectacular moments with your camera. (If you add the extra entrances for the Huayna Picchu mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain, you can do it after finishing the guidance in the citadel of Machu Picchu).

After this incredible experience, we will return to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious lunch (not included).

In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, upon arrival a representative of the agency will be waiting for you and then be transferred to Cusco in our private transportation.

Finally, we will leave you at your respective hotel.

Day 6 Humantay Lake

Humantay Lake

This day we will start very early between 04:00 to 05:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel to go to the town of Mollepata on a trip of approximately two hours. In Mollepata, we will have a delicious breakfast.

Then we will continue to Soraypampa in our transport, the starting point for the walk.

We will start the walk of about two hours. In the ascent, we will have the opportunity to observe the diverse flora and fauna that inhabits the area. We will be able to observe some native birds around the area, as well as obtain great views of the snowy mountains surrounding us.

Once in the area, we can enjoy our snacks and a good rest while we appreciate spectacular views of the Humantay lake and its turquoise waters. We will have one 30 or 40 min to be able to take the best photographs.

We will return along the same route descending from the lake and taking our transport to return to the restaurant and be able to regain our strengths with lunch.

In the afternoon after lunch and a short rest, we will return to the city of Cusco.

Day 7 Rainbow Mountain

Very early in the morning between 04:00 to 04:30 am, our transport will pick you up at your hotel to start the tour.

We will go to the south of the city, crossing fields, rivers, mountains, and villages. We will travel for about 2 hours until we reach the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy our delicious breakfast.

After breakfast we will travel for another 45 minutes, observing beautiful landscapes, canyons, glaciers, and herds of llamas and alpacas, until we reach the starting point of the hike in Pulawasipata.

We will walk for approximately 2 hours until we reach the Mountain of Colors or Winincunca. On the way, we will observe a large number of South American camelids with their shepherds dressed in beautiful colorful typical costumes.

Upon reaching the top of the Mountain of Colors, we will have enough time to take the photographs and enjoy the landscape. Besides, we can also clearly appreciate the highest snow in Cusco, the Ausangate mountain.

Later we will undertake the return along the same path until we reach our transport to return to Cusipata, where we will taste our delicious buffet lunch.

After lunch we will return to Cusco, our vehicle will leave you in the center of the city.

Day 8 Route Of The Sun Between Cusco And Puno

Route Of The Sun Between Cusco And Puno

The tour begins with the transfer from the hotel to the tourist bus station between 06:20 to 06:30 a.m. to start with this great adventure. We’ll leave Cusco at 07:00 a. m.

The first point to visit is the Andahuaylillas Chapel, a church dating from the seventeenth century also known as the "Sistine Chapel of America", for the beauty of its murals, the works in gold leaf and the paintings of the Cusco school that houses inside.

After that, we will visit the Raqchi Archaeological Complex, also known as the Temple of the God Wiracocha, which was the supreme Inka deity. In this area, we will find the most significant number of Colcas (Barns). We will also see magnificent buildings in stone and adobe. Our visit will last about 40 minutes

In Sicuani, our lunch will be a buffet, and it will be served in the tourist restaurant "La Pascana" that enjoys good prestige and is recognized for the chef’s good seasoning. Lunch lasts 40 minutes. It should be noted that cold drinks such as water, soda, or beer are not included in the buffet.

After traveling for another period, we will arrive at the La Raya pass located at 4335 m (bordering point between the regions of Cusco and Puno). In this place, we will contemplate the famous snowy Chimboya. One of the snow-covered mountains where the Amazon River is born.

Already within the region of Puno, our next point to visit will be the lithic museum of Pukara, in this museum we can find ceramics and sculptures representing zoomorphic figures, among them the famous sculpture of the “Hatunñaqaq” that in our times would be translated as “The Supreme Degollador."

Finally, we will arrive in Puno at 17:00 approximately.

Day 9 Speed Boat (Titikaka Lake)

Speed Boat (Titikaka Lake)

The tour through Lake Titikaka starts between 07:30 to 08:00 a.m.. After picking you up from your hotel to head towards the pier or main port of Puno.

We will make a complete boat tour through the waters of the highest navigable Lake in the world, Lake Titicaca.

First, we will visit the ancient culture of the floating islands of the Uros. At present, the people of the Uros still maintain their own culture and tradition, as well as artisanal fishing, especially Karachi and kingfish.

To reach our next destination, we will sail by boat for 2 hours and a half, to the natural island of Taquile. During navigation, you can observe the mountain chain. The visit will take an average of 2 hours and 1 hour more to enjoy a delicious typical lunch. Finally, our guide will inform you of the time of return to Puno.

In the afternoon we will return to your accomodation.
