  • Day 1 Day 1: Lhasa Arrival

      Day 1: Lhasa Arrival

      Upon your arrival at Lhasa airport, you will be welcomed by your local English speaking guide, then transferred to your hotel in Lhasa city (1.5-hour drive). Have a rest in your hotel. Do relax and get adapted to the high altitude.  Remark: Having a good rest/sleep in your hotel is the best way to get acclimatized to the high altitude for the new-comers of Tibet. DO NOT rush to visit attractions immediately once you arrive. You can take a stroll near your hotel if you adapt the plateau very soon. But don't go too far and be too exciting!  Overnight in Lhasa 4-star hotel Meal: NULL

  • Day 2 Day 2: Potala Palace - Jokhang Temple - Barkhor Street

      Day 2: Potala Palace - Jokhang Temple - Barkhor Street

      Today you will visit Potala Palace -- the landmark of Lhasa, also the highest ancient palace & castle in the world. It was the former residence of the Dalai Lama. Now it is a palace with a lot of valuable and beautiful artworks inside.  Afternoon, you will visit Jokhang Temple, the ultimate pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Pilgrims. It was on the UNESCO's World Heritage list together with Potala Palace. Then you are free to explore on Barkhor Street, which is surrounding Jokhang Temple. You can see some pilgrims walking or progressing body-lengths by body-lengths along Barkhor Street, all the way to Jokhang Temple. Overnight in Lhasa 4-star hotel Meal: Breakfast, Lunch

  • Day 3 Day 3: Drepung Monastery - Sera Monastery

      Day 3: Drepung Monastery - Sera Monastery

      After breakfast, you will visit Drepung Monastery, which is the largest of all Tibetan monasteries in the world. It's also the resident for Dalai Lama before Potala Palace built.   Afternoon, you will visit Sera Monastery, one of the three great monasteries in Tibet. it is famous for "Debating of Buddhist Doctrines" by Lamas. It's very interesting to see their although you don't understand Tibetan language. Overnight in Lhasa 4-star hotel Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
