Wild Amazonas Adventure 4-Day Tour

The journey will start at Leticia’s airport. After you pay the tourism tax, you will meet one of our local guide who will pick you up. You will get to know a little bit of Leticia. Once ready, you will visit the Brazilian border of the Amazonas: Tabatinga. Besides you will visit the malokas, the traditional houses of the indigenous communities and learn from their culture. To get there you will hike deep in the rainforest. The guide will hand you rubber boots. You will spend the night in a Maloka.

Then, on the second day you will visit Puerto Nariño, a beautiful small town with no cars and amazing views. You will make a stop on the Peruvian Amazon to visit an indigenous community. You will also visit a natural reservoir to see the marvelous Victoria Regia, Isla de los Micos (Monkey Island) and the Tikuna indigenous community. Then, in Puerto Nariño you will head to the hotel. You will be able to decide whether you want to tour around the town or rest the rest of the day.

On this day you will leave to Puerto Nariño to go to San Antonio del Cacao, a Peruvian island. You will go in search of sloths and to explore the flora and fauna and learn from the region and its history. You will go back to Puerto Nariño and you will take another boat to Tarapoto Lake. You will spend the night in a hut in front of the river. Here, you will be able to swim, fish, walk around and enjoy a night firepit. (If chosen, you can have a night safari).
