Children ages five and over are required to wear a face covering. โ€ขGuests will refrain from physical contact with our guide, other guests not in their party, partner staff, or other patrons while maintaining 6-foot social distancing guidelines. โ€ขAt each stop, when guests exit the vehicle, our Tour Guide will use sanitary wipes to disinfect commonly touched areas inside the vehicle. โ€ขUpon returning to the vehicle, our Tour Guide will provide hand sanitizer or wipes for each customer. โ€ขAt the end of each tour, all surfaces inside the vehicle will be sanitized and wiped down. โ€ขWe will limit the number of guests on our tours to 8. โ€ขWe are expanding our communications about our refund policy to ensure anyone who is not feeling well will receive a full refund for the tour is canceled. โ€ขOur leadership team will continue actively monitoring the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and OHA and implement best practices accordingly. Day 2: Drive From Kathmandu To Syabrubesi

We will leave Kathmandu today on an overland journey to Syabrubesi in the morning. The highway runs winding past several rural towns and heads towards Trishuli Bazar. After a break in Trishuli bazaar, our road trip heads towards Syabrubesi, the destination for today.

The road trip today brings us an insight into the rural lifestyle in Nepal. The drive along the beautiful Trishuli River gives an idea of the richness of Nepal in natural resources. Fertile farmland on the river plateau, terraced fields, and roadside towns are apt examples to give some glimpses of Nepalese countryside life.

After breakfast, we will ask our clients if they have any physical state problems. After finishing our packing and stuff, we will set off on an exciting trekking journey today from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel. We cover the elevation of about 1,000 meters on the very first day of our trek in the Langtang region. The walk introduces us to the mountain cultures of the region and the fantastic views and landscapes that heighten our excitement about the following trekking days. Although the name of our destination today sounds like the name of a hotel, itโ€™s the name of an overnight place on the Langtang Valley trekking route. Lama Hotel is an ideal location to spend overnight after a full day of trekking on the mountain trail.

Day 4: Trek From Lama Hotel To Langtang Valley

We will gain another significant elevation today when we trek to Langtang valley. Before the devastating earthquake in 2015, trekkers used to stay in the Langtang village itself. But as the village was swept away in a landslide during the earthquake, the settlement shifted to a new and safe place.

The walk will bring lots of cultural and spiritual experiences and natural marvels. Buddhist prayer flags, Mani walls, and Chhortens along the trail significantly signal the dominance of Buddhist culture in the region. Itโ€™s a beautiful day full of fascinating encounters along the trail.

The influence of Buddhism and ethnic culture sets the region apart from the lower region we traveled through. When we reach Kyanjing Gompa for our overnight stay, we can explore an ancient and beautiful Buddhist monastery, the Kyanjing Gompa. The monastery is one of the most important spiritual sites in the Langtang region.
