  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival In Kathmandu

      Representatives of โ€˜Adventure Himalayan Travels & Treks  will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu and take you to our Hotel where you will be shortly notified about your daily itinerary. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Free Day In Kathmandu

      Day 2: Free Day In Kathmandu

      You have free day in Kathmandu. you can sightseeing by yourself in Kathmandu Valley which includes several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath (famous Hindu temple and cremation ground) Boudhanath (massive Buddhist stupa). We can also visit Swyambhunath, also known as Monkey Temple, which was built roughly 2000 years ago. Finally, we can visit Patan, city of fine arts. In the afternoon, you will be meeting with your trekking guide and will check all the necessary things. 

  • Day 3 Day 3: Drive From Kathmandu To Syabrubesi (1550M)

      Day 3: Drive From Kathmandu To Syabrubesi (1550M)

      The road winds through a series of twists and turns persistently for about 8 to 9 hours to cover 117km, ending in Syabrubesi. We will find a lodge for us to spend the first night.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Syabrubesi To Lama Hotel (2380M)

      The trail departs from main road and descends to meet the suspension bridge, which needs to be crossed to make it to the wooded area of Doman (1680m). Here, the soothing songs of various birds including Lophophorus and Cookoo can be heard. We hike further up through moraines at Paira Lodge (1810m) continuing upward to Bamboo Lodge (1960m) which eventually leads to Lama Hotel (2470m). Overnight in Lama Hotel.

      Day 5: Lama Hotel To Langtang Village (3430M)

      The trail leaves Lama Hotel and proceeds further up the hill through verdant forests of maples and oaks which open up at Langtang Village (3430m) offering 180 degree view of Lirung Mountain. The path goes through lush rhododendron and pine forests before passing through Gumanchok(2800m) and Ghora Tabela(2970m). We eventually reach to Langtang Village after a short climb up the hill. Overnight in Langtang Village.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Langtang Village To Kyanjin Gompa (3870M)

      On day 6, the trek follows the steep path uphill to pass through Sindum and Yamphu (3640m). Later, we cross Laja Khola and reach to a viewpoint from where Kyanjin Gompa and the icefall from Lirung and Kinshung can be viewed. Ultimately we will descend down Kyanjin Gompa (3870m). Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa

      Kyanjin Gompa is the last permanent settlement with a small gompa and a cheese factory. Use it as a base for day hikes, exploring the upper valley or climbing the hill north of Kyanjin called Tsergori (5033m). Tsergori lies up the valley from Kyanjin. The upper valley is surrounded by spectacular snow peaks, including fluted peak Langtang Lirung and the Tibetan Droje Lakpa. There is plenty to explore in the area! Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek Back To Lama Hotel (2380M)

      Day 8: Trek Back To Lama Hotel (2380M)

      There are lots to explore in and around Kyanjin Gompa. We can unravel the glaciers and take a short trek to the Himalayan Yak pastures. Kyanjin Gompa gives the 360 degree views of Langtang Lirung, Genjempol and Kenga Himal ranges. Cheese factory, Buddhist monastery and Tsergo Ri (5033m) are other sites worthy visiting. Later we will travel back to Lama Hotel for night stay.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Lama Hotel To Thulo Syabru (2200M)

      Todayโ€™s trail pursues the route down through Rimche and Bamboo Lodge, extending further through Paira Lodge and the lively forest to head up to the Langtang Khola. We cross the suspension bridge to reach Thulo Village(2260m). Overnight in Thulo Syabru.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Thulo Syabru To Sing Gompa (3250M)

      Day 10: Thulo Syabru To Sing Gompa (3250M)

      The journey on the 9th day begins uphill through schools and gompas before taking us to Dursagang(2660m), and leading us to a ridge at the top of Foprang Danda(3190m). The trail further winds up past Government Agriculture Office to Sing Gompa- a Buddhist monastery located at 3330m. If time permits, we will around Gompa to visit Yak cheese Factory where local cheeses are manufactured.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Sing Gompa To Gosaikunda Lake (4320M)

      Day 11: Sing Gompa To Gosaikunda Lake (4320M)

      The trek for 11th day commences by proceeding through the stupa of Sakyamuni which is further along the path and provides a spectacular view of the sparkling water of Saraswati Kunda all the way through Bhairab Kunda, at which point the path ascends uphill to Gosaikunda (4460m). Overnight at guest house.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Gosaikunda Lake To Ghopte (3300M)

      The trail for this day follows a steep descent from the northern edge of Gosaikunda Lake and passes three small lakes. We are lead to a pass at 4500m from where the rocky path descends further down the slope through National Park Post at Bhera Goth(4240m) and Phedi(3740m). We then pass through Bamboo forests to Dupichaur(3630m), eventually arriving to Ghopte(3440m). Overnight in tea house.

  • Day 13 Day 13: Gompte To Tharepati (3780M)

      We will trek across the pine and juniper forest and then ascend the steep slope along the rocky terrain for about 2 hours before arriving at Tharepati, where you are rewarded by the natural marvels. Overnight in tea house.

  • Day 14 Day 14: Tharepati To Chisopani

      The path for 15th day moves along the forested ridge and escalates through Thodang Betini (2260m) and Chipling (2170m) prior to making a sharp downfall to reach Pati Bhanjyang(1860m), a multi- ethnic village. The trail declines further to Chisopani at 2134m altitude where we will witness the gorgeous sunset over snow clad mountains

  • Day 15 Day 15: Chisopani To Sundarijal, Then Private Transport To Kathmandu

      Day 15: Chisopani To Sundarijal, Then Private Transport To Kathmandu

      The trek follows through thickets of oak and rhododendron and crosses Borlang Bhanjyang(2440m) which elongates further through Army Check Post where your Shivpuri Entrance Permit is checked. We continue on to Sundarijal, where we will board a private vehicle back to Kathmandu. Celebratory Nepali dinner in Kathmandu.
