Today you’ll be Picked -up from the hotel at 10 AM to explore the city of Lagos your first stop will be at: National Museum The Nigerian National Museum is a national museum of Nigeria, located in the city of Lagos. The museum has a notable collection of Nigerian art, including pieces of statuary and carvings and archaeological and ethnographic exhibits. Of note is a terra-cotta human head known as the Jemaa Head, part of the Nok culture. Proceed to Freedom Park A memorial and leisure park area in the middle of downtown Lagos in Lagos Island, Nigeria which was formerly Her Majesty’s Broad Street Prison. It was designed by the Architect Theo Lawson. The Park was constructed to preserve the history and cultural heritage of Nigerians. The Cathedral Church of Christ Drive through and see the Cathedral Church of Christ Marina, is the oldest Anglican Cathedral in the Church Of Nigeria Anglican Communion and also one of the finest of Cathedrals in Africa. It is the seat of the Bishop of Lagos. Established in 1869, Christ church stands on a prominent position on the CMS suburb of the Marina, of the Lagos Island, overlooking the Lagos lagoon. Visit the Art & Crafts Market A visit to the Lekki art and craft market will not just give you the chance to see locally made art and craft, but will also avail you the opportunity to purchase some as souvenirs. You will stop at Bl Restaurant A premium Belgium-Lebanese themed restaurant on Victoria Island where you will have lunch. before heading back to the hotel you ”ll Stop at Moist Private Beach for some exotic evening relaxation (Optional*).
