Meals

Breakfast is included in the Tour Cost. Full Board Meal Plan in Houseboat (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) Lunch and Dinner are excluded in the tour cost (Except in Houseboat). Our representative will suggest you nice places to eat. For all the departures during the Christmas & New Year departures mandatory Gala Dinner charges will be applicable.

Accommodation on twin sharing basis with bed & breakfast plan as per the itinerary. Transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary by AC vehicle. Local English speaking guides as per the sightseeing. For a groups of 6 and more travellers, an accompanying tour escort for whole tour will be provided. The tour starts at 10 AM in the morning. If you happen to be arriving in the morning on tour starting date our representative will come and pick you up at the airport. Else we could pick you from your hotel. Arrival in Cochin, after the customs formalities, meet with MTA Representative. Our representative will be waiting for you outside the exit gate of airport with your name Placard. Cochin, also known as Kochi, is a vibrant city situated on the southwestern coast of India in the state of Kerala. It is a significant port city and has a rich history that dates back several centuries. Cochin has been a melting pot of various cultures and civilizations, resulting in a unique blend of traditions, architectural styles, and culinary influences. Cochin gained prominence in the 15th century with the arrival of the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama in 1498. The Portuguese established a strong presence in Cochin and built Fort Manuel (now known as Fort Kochi) to protect their trading interests. They also introduced Christianity to the region and built several churches, including the iconic St. Francis Church, which is one of the oldest European churches in India. Thekkady is nestled amidst lush green spice plantations, and a visit to these plantations is a must-do activity. The region is famous for the cultivation of spices like cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Visitors can take guided tours of the spice plantations, where they can learn about the cultivation techniques, harvesting processes, and the medicinal properties of various spices. They also get the chance to purchase high-quality spices directly from the plantations. Thekkady offers cultural experiences that showcase the vibrant traditions of Kerala. Enjoy the beauty and serenity of the life around the Vembanad lake during your stay in the Houseboat. Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha, is a picturesque town located in the southern state of Kerala, India. It is famous for its serene backwaters, tranquil canals, and the unique experience of staying in a houseboat. The Alleppey houseboat experience is a popular tourist attraction that offers a memorable journey through the enchanting backwaters of Kerala. Alleppey houseboats, locally known as "Kettuvallams," are traditional rice barges converted into floating accommodations.
