      After a relaxed breakfast from your hotel in Kigali, you head to Akagera National Park.

      Akagera National Park covers 2500 kmยฒ of savannah west of the Kagera River, in the north-east of Rwanda. The park has a variety of wildlife and is a habitat for over 500 different species of birds. Herds of elephant and buffalo emerge from the woodland to drink at the lakes, while you might stumble across a leopard, a spotted hyena or even a lion. Giraffe and zebra haunt the savannah, and more than a dozen types of antelope inhabit the park.

      You will have lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on Akagera River in search of water loving animals like the hippos, and crocodiles. Return to your lodge for dinner.

      In the morning after breakfast, you will go for a game drive in the park in search of wildlife the whole day. During the game drive through the Savannah grassland of Akagera national park, you should watch out for animals like Lions, Leopards, elephants, antelopes, and many more.

  • Day 3 Transfer From Akagera National Park To Bwindi Through Kigali

      In the Morning after breakfast at around 10am you will bid Akagera National Park Farewell and return to Kigali then transfer to Bwindi.

  • Day 4 Gorilla Tracking In Bwindi Forest National Park

      Gorilla Tracking In Bwindi Forest National Park

      Early breakfast, proceed with packed lunch and a bottle of water into the tropical rain forest for gorilla trekking activity. Receive prior briefing by the ranger officials then head straight into the forest. The trek is unpredictable and could last up to 6 or more hours. Watch these creatures as they feed, play and grumble to each other while you take their pictures. Dinner and overnight at your booked lodge.

  • Day 5 Batwa Trail Experience In Mgahinga National Park

      Batwa Trail Experience In Mgahinga National Park

      07h30: We all meet for breakfast before embarking on a tour of the Batwa/Pygmy tribe. 

      This is about a 5 hour tour with quite a bit of walking.

      The Batwa People โ€“ the original People of the Rainforest are Pygmies who were the first inhabitants of the montane Rainforests of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi. They lived, gathered and hunted in the Rainforests for 0ver 500,000 years .There was no farming, there was no destruction of the forest, no charcoal making, their shelters did not disturb the environment, and they lived in harmony with their beloved forests and wildlife including the Mountain Gorillas and left a low ecological footprint.

      Uganda is helping these indigenous people to keep their culture and traditions alive following there eviction from the forest over 2 decades ago. During the conflict between the Bantu and the Bwata, they Bwata retreated deep into the forest to a cave called the Garama Cave measuring 342 meters long. Your guide will explain how they lived and fought from this cave.

  • Day 6 Transfer From Bwindi National Park To Lake Bunyonyi

      Transfer From Bwindi National Park To Lake Bunyonyi

      After breakfast, you continue driving further south to Lake Bunyonyi. A very beautiful lake with 29 islands which might make you feel like you are out of Africa.

      Lake bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika but its being always calm enables Canoeing and a Nature walk on these historic islands is very rewarding.

  • Day 7 Transfer To Lake Mburo National Park - Night Game Drive.
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Transfer To Lake Mburo National Park - Night Game Drive.

      After breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo, the โ€˜Zebra magnetโ€™. Leave Lake Bunyonyi and continue driving through the hilly areas. Arrive in the park and have lunch at the lodge before heading for an afternoon game drive for a view of zebras, Topis, Warthogs, cape buffaloes and impalas.


      Later, you will go for a night game drive in Lake Mburo National park.

      In Lake Mburo National Park, Night game drives start as the sunsets around 6:30pm โ€“ 7pm and it lasts for 2-3 hours. There are high chances of seeing nocturnal animals like bushbabys, Leopards, Pottos, Zebra and more.

  • Day 8 Safari Walk In Lake Mburo National Park And Transfer To Entebbe

      Early morning safari walk, get early up to visit the hyenas den, chance to see Leopards, zebras, waterbucks, birds buffaloes in there day break jungle life! Get back for breakfast and start the drive to Entebbe. Have early lunch in Masaka and a stopover at the Equator. we later end our safari with departure in Entebbe.
