  • Day 1 Day 1: Transfer From Kigali To Bwindi National Park (Optional Kigali City Tour)

      Day 1: Transfer From Kigali To Bwindi National Park (Optional Kigali City Tour)

      Our representative will pick you up in Kigali (an optional Kigali city tour or Genocide Memorial Visit can be arranged) and drive to Bwindi National Park. The drive to Uganda will go through Rwanda's northern town of Ruhengeri. You will then cross over into Uganda via Cyanika or Katuna border post. The trip continues through the nearby Kisoro or Kabale town and finally to Bwindi national park. The journey from Kigali to Bwindi National Park will take approximately 5 hrs. Arriving at Bwindi national park early afternoon will allow you to do optional activities such as hiking, visiting the Batwa community, coffee-making experience, etc.ย 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Gorilla Tracking At Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

      Day 2: Gorilla Tracking At Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

      You will head to the Bwindi National Park gate immediately after breakfast to get a briefing about the gorilla trek. The national park guide will conduct a presentation that covers the basics of what to expect during the gorilla trek. The national guide will assign the gorilla trekking group during the pre-trekking briefing. Other visitors will likely join you. The gorilla trek can take from a few to many hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest.ย 

  • Day 3 Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking At Mgahinga Gorilla National Park & Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi

      Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking At Mgahinga Gorilla National Park & Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi

      Trek the Golden Monkeys in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.ย  This trip will take you to trek the golden monkeys, an endemic Mgahinga Gorilla National Park species in southwestern Uganda. You will enter the forest and walk through the bamboo vegetation and various indigenous plants like giant lobelia. During the trip, your national park guide will tell you about the history of the national park and the fauna and flora that the park holds. The golden monkey trek should take about 5 hours. After golden monkey trekking, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening of relaxation.
