Day 1: Arrive Kochi (Cochin)

Day 2: -Kochi –Munnar (Surface) -136 Kms -3.5 hrs

Morning after breakfast depart by surface for Munnar a pristine town and hill station breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely the, Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala situated at 1,600 meters above mean sea level, in the Western Ghats mountain range. Day 3: Munnar

A little beyond lays Anamudi, South India's highest peak in the vicinity is the Eravikulam National Park., the home of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr that roams on a stretch of grassland or is sometimes seen climbing the pinnacles of the undulating hills. Morning proceed to Alleppey and on arrival check in to your pre booked Floating Hotel (Kettuvallam or houseboats (rice boats) as they are called, are country boats that were used in the early days to transport goods from the isolated interior villages to the towns. With the advent of roads, bridges and ferry services, gradually the Kettuvallam went off the scene. Now these Kettuvallom are back again as a major tourist attraction. A ride on a Kettuvallam is a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. House boat is about 67 feet in length and has a width of around 13 feet in the middle. Day 9: Kovalam

Morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Trivandrum (16 kms/30 minutes) visiting the ancient temple of Sri Padmanabhaswamy is one of the major attractions in the city of Thiruvananthapuram. Napier Museum shows a harmonious blending of Kerala, Mughal, Chinese and Italian architectural styles. Sri Chitra Art Gallery has a good collection Tanjore, Mughal, and Rajput schools of art.
