      Upon your arrival at the arrival section of Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, one of our representatives will be waiting for you, holding a placard with your name on it. Upon arrival, the airport representative will provide a program briefing and accompany you to the hotel in a private vehicle.

Today, we will explore some of Kathmanduโ€™s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, immersing ourselves in their historical and cultural significance.

      Kathmandu to Paro: According to our flight schedule, we will depart for Bhutan and arrive in Paro, Bhutanโ€™s sole international airport, in the morning. Upon reaching Paro, we will visit Simtokha Dzong, built in 1627 and known as the "Palace of the Profound Meaning of Secret Mantras," as we drive towards Thimphu. 

      You will spend the night in Thimphu.

      From Thimphu, we embark on a picturesque drive to Punakha, passing through the breathtaking Dochu La pass at an altitude of 3,200 meters. Upon arriving in Punakha, our first stop is the Punakha Dzong, also known as Pungtang Dechen Photrang Dzong, which translates to "the palace of great happiness or bliss." We will explore this administrative and cultural centerโ€™s historical significance.

      Continuing our journey, we proceed towards Chimi Lhakhang, with a visit en route to Wangdiphodrang. Wangdiphodrang is a sizable village featuring a monastery constructed in 1638, showcasing traditional Bhutanese architecture. While in Wangdiphodrang, perched on a hill, weโ€™ll have the opportunity to admire the confluence of the Mo and Tang rivers, picturesque settlements, and the charm of Bhutanese rural life.

      Afterward, we will drive back to Thimphu, where you will spend the night.

      On this day, we dedicate our time to exploring Thimphu, the capital of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Our itinerary includes visits to several significant landmarks:

      1. Memorial Chorten: This stupa honored the third King, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, and symbolized his legacy.

      2. Cheri Monastery: We will explore this monastery, renowned for its historical and spiritual significance.

      3. Tashichho Dzong: Also known as the "Fortress of the Glorious Religion," this impressive dzong is a prime example of traditional Bhutanese architecture and serves as an important administrative and religious center.

      After our comprehensive tour of the city, we will drive to Paro, where you will spend the night in a guest house.

      We embark on a hike to the Taktsang Monastery early in the morning, which typically takes 3 to 4 hours. As we trek along the high ridges adorned with vibrant Buddhist prayer flags, we are rewarded with breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains and panoramic vistas of the valleys below the pass.

      Depending on your flight schedule, we will arrange for your transfer to the airport in Paro. You will take a morning flight back to Kathmandu, where our team will be ready to meet you at the airport. From there, we will escort you to the hotel, allowing you time to rest and enjoy some free time.

      In the late afternoon, we will visit the Bouddhanath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and you will have the opportunity to circumambulate the stupa for good luck. Later in the evening, we will explore Pashupatinath, a sacred Hindu temple complex along the banks of the revered Bagmati River. Pashupatinath is the holiest place in Nepal, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Witnessing the ancient Aarati ritual here will fill you with positivity and a delightful sense of happiness. This experience is a must when visiting Kathmandu. You will spend the night in Kathmandu.

  • Day 8 Drive From Kathmandu To Chitwan

      Following breakfast, we will journey to Chitwan National Park, a sanctuary for rare wildlife, including the Horned Rhinoceros and Bengal Tiger. The drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan takes approximately 5 hours, during which you can enjoy the scenic landscapes and observe local villages.

      Upon arrival, we will check in at the safari lodge. After a satisfying lunch, you will have free time to explore the surroundings and relax leisurely. In the evening, weโ€™ll relish the renowned sunset view, partake in a Tharu village excursion to learn about the local culture, enjoy a captivating cultural show, and savor a dinner in the best Nepali tradition. 

      You will spend the night at the safari lodge, surrounded by the natural beauty of Chitwan.

      Following breakfast in the morning, our day will be dedicated to exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Chitwan National Park. We will commence our activities with an exciting jungle jeep safari and a visit to the elephant sanctuary.

      Later in the day, we will embark on a canoe ride, allowing us to observe crocodiles and engage in bird watching. This day will be filled with incredible wildlife encounters and natural beauty. 

      You will spend the night at the safari lodge, surrounded by the enchanting ambiance of Chitwan National Park.

  • Day 10 Drive From Chitwan To Pokhara

      After enjoying breakfast, we will embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara. The journey takes approximately 4 hours, during which we will pass through charming villages and picturesque hills.

      Upon our arrival in Pokhara, we will visit the International Mountain Museum, which provides insights into mountaineering and the Himalayas. Later in the day, we will take a leisurely walk along the serene Phewa Lake, allowing us to enjoy the evening ambiance at the lakeside. 

      You will spend the night at a hotel in Pokhara, surrounded by the beauty of this tranquil lakeside city.

      Early in the morning, we will commence our day by driving to Sarangkot, a vantage point renowned for its breathtaking sunrise views over the Annapurna Himalayas. This awe-inspiring spectacle will leave an indelible memory you will cherish for years.

      After enjoying breakfast, our exploration continues with a boat ride across the tranquil Phewa Lake, followed by a short hike to the World Peace Stupa. This sacred monument offers a spiritual experience and panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape.

      Descending from the stupa, we will visit Davis Falls and the Tibetan Refugee camp. In the afternoon, you will have free time to either relish the charms of the beautiful lakeside city or unwind. 

      You will spend the night at the hotel, surrounded by the serenity of Pokhara.

      After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. Weโ€™ll stop in a lovely village called Bandipur if we have time to enjoy the view from the top and stroll by the streets with authentic restaurants and cafes. We will arrive in Kathmandu in the evening.

      Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 13 Drive From Kathmandu To Kerung, Tibet

      Drive From Kathmandu To Kerung, Tibet

      In the morning, our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu. We will journey through a scenic mountain road to reach the Nepalese border. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Nepal, including waterfalls, rivers, gorges, and forests that the country is renowned for.

      Finally, we will arrive at the newly opened Nepal-Tibet border at Kerung. Our Tibetan guide and driver will welcome you at the border and assist with the necessary immigration paperwork. From there, we will continue our drive to Kerung town, approximately 20 km away. This marks the beginning of your journey in Tibet.

      You will spend the night in Kerung town.

  • Day 14 Drive From Kerung To Tingri

      Drive From Kerung To Tingri

      After a hearty breakfast, youโ€™ll embark on your journey towards New Tingri, taking in some fascinating sights. Your adventure starts with a visit to the sacred cave of Milarepa Yogi, dating back to the 11th century, and the birthplace of Milarepa, a revered Tibetan figure.

      As you drive, youโ€™ll ascend Gongthang La Pass, an impressive elevation of over 5000 meters. Along the route, youโ€™ll also pass by the picturesque Pekutso Lake, adding to the scenic beauty of your journey.

      Your route will take you through Old Tingri, a gathering place for climbers before and after their expeditions. The landscape will give you stunning views of Shishapangma Snow Mountain on the right and Pekutso on the left. If the weather is clear, you might catch your first glimpse of Mount Everest on this leg of your journey.

      Continuing along the Friendship Highway, youโ€™ll reach New Tingri after about an hourโ€™s drive. New Tingri is your resting place for the night, where you can unwind and prepare for more adventures on this incredible journey through the Himalayas.

  • Day 15 Drive From Tingri To Shigatse

      Your tour will commence around 9:30 a.m. from your hotel. We will embark on a journey through imposing mountain passes, including Gyatso La at an elevation of 5,200 meters and Tso La at 4,500 meters, passing through some picturesque villages.

      Lunch will be served in Shigatse, and afterward, we will proceed with the sightseeing of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery. Founded by the 1st Dalai Lama in 1447, this monastery is on a hill in the cityโ€™s heart. The full name in Tibetan translates to "all fortune and happiness gathered here" or "heap of glory."

      You will spend the night in Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet, and offer a glimpse into Tibetan culture and heritage.

  • Day 16 Drive From Shigatse To Gyantse:

      Your day will commence at approximately 9 a.m. from your hotel. We will embark on a journey to Gyantse, which holds strategic importance and historical significance. Encircled by a 3-kilometer-long wall, Gyantse is strategically positioned in the Nyang Chu Valley along the ancient trade routes from where they converged from the Chumbi Valley, Yatung, and Sikkim.

      The fortress in Gyantse, constructed in 1390, was a guardian of the southern approaches to the Yarlung Tsangpo Valley and Lhasa.

      Following lunch in Gyantse, we will visit the Palchoe Monastery and Kubum Pagoda Stupa, a remarkable architectural fusion of Han, Tibetan, and Nepali influences.

      In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to explore the charming old town of Gyantse. 

      You will spend the night in Gyantse, immersing yourself in the local culture and heritage.

  • Day 17 Drive From Gyantse To Lhasa

      Drive From Gyantse To Lhasa

      Your journey will commence around 9 a.m. from your hotel. We will drive towards Lhasa, passing through three high mountain passes: Simi La, Karo La, and Kampa La, each offering its unique scenic beauty.

      Karo La, in particular, stands out as the highest pass, exceeding 5,000 meters, and is renowned for its stunning glaciers. Along the way, you will also be treated to the sight of the beautiful Yamdrok Lake, which appears like a coral-colored jewel when viewed from the summit of the Kampa La pass.

      Lunch will be served at Nakartse County, between the Yamdrok Lake and the Karo La glaciers, allowing you to savor the picturesque surroundings.

      You will spend the night in Lhasa, where you can soak in the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Tibetan capital.

      Jokhang Temple: This is the most sacred and significant temple in Tibet, revered by pilgrims worldwide.

      Barkhor Street and Bazar: Barkhor Street is an ancient circular street surrounding the Jokhang Temple. Itโ€™s a bustling market where you can experience the vibrant local culture and shop for unique Tibetan goods.

      Potala Palace: Explore the majestic Potala Palace, which was once the residence of the Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama left for India. It stands as an iconic symbol of Tibetan Buddhism and culture.

  • Day 19 Lhasa To Kathmandu

      On this day, we will return to Kathmandu, marking the end of our journey in Tibet. Depending on your flight schedule, you will have some free time to explore and enjoy various activities in Kathmandu.

      You can choose to:

      Shop in Thamel: Explore the bustling markets of Thamel and shop for souvenirs, handicrafts, and local goods.

      Relax in a Spa: Treat yourself to a relaxing spa session to unwind after the long journey and rejuvenate your senses.

      Please note that if itโ€™s not feasible to fly back to Kathmandu, we will arrange overland transportation. In such a case, an additional day will be added to the itinerary:

      Day 20: Lhasa to Shegar (Drive Back) - Overnight at Guest House (Approximately 655 km, 8-9 hours)

      Day 21: Shegar to Kerung to Kathmandu (Approximately 425 km, 9-10 hours)
