Welcome to Kathmandu! An Asian Heritage representative will be waiting for you at Tribhuvan International Airport, outside the customs area, to welcome you and take you to the hotel. Check in to your sumptuous room at the luxury 4-star Hotel Yatri. Our representative will facilitate and discuss your travel itinerary. There will be enough time to stroll through the streets of Thamel.

Begin your day with a visit to the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can explore the intricate architecture of ancient palaces, temples, and courtyards while immersing yourself in Nepal’s rich cultural heritage.

After that, visit the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, which sits atop a hill and provides panoramic views of the valley as well as a glimpse at Buddhism’s spiritual essence.

Next, head to Boudhanath, one of the world’s largest stupas, where you can walk around with devotees, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and shop for Tibetan handicrafts.

Finally, end your day at Pashupatinath, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu temple complex, where you can experience the vibrant spirituality that defines this city.

Today’s adventure starts in Bhaktapur, renowned for its mediaeval architecture. Stroll along its charming streets, marvel at the woodwork, and relish Newari food. Next, visit UNESCO-listed Changunarayan for temple exploration and stunning valley views. Afterwards, you’ll return to Kathmandu, cherishing Nepal’s culture, history, and beauty.

After a filling breakfast at the hotel in Kathmandu, you’ll drive to Pokhara. When you arrive in Pokhara, check into your hotel and rest. Later in the afternoon, take a stroll along Pokhara’s lakeside street to the bank of Phewa Lake.

Day 5 Sightseeing In Pokhara

Sightseeing In Pokhara

You will start the day with an early drive to Sarangkot to capture the tranquil and magical view of the city before sunrise. You will see the first rays of sunlight hitting the mountains in the background. Sarangkot offers panoramic views of Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, and other mountains.

After Sarankot, you will return to the hotel for some rest and set off for a full day of sightseeing in this beautiful lakeside town. You will be visiting the World Peace Stupa, which is almost an hour away from Pokhara and lies on the top of the hill. After arriving, you will be able to enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the mountains to your north and west. Annapurna, Nilgiri, Glacier Dome, Fishtail Mountain, and the Dhaulagiri mountain ranges can be seen from this place.

Enjoy boating for a sightseeing excursion to the Barahi Temple, which is located in the heart of Phewa Lake. Then you will visit Devi’s Fall, Gupteswor Cave, Seti George, Mahendra Cave, and the Mountain Museum. After completing your sightseeing, get back to the hotel and have a rest.
