Today is a busy day to explore Kashagr with a local guide. You will visit Apha Hoja Tomb this morning, which is a family cemetery with stunning blue tiles shining in the sun. Then, you will visit the old town of Kashagar where you will view the traditional houses and shops, workshop etc.  Afterwards you will wander along the handicraft street where therer are music instruments, utensils and caps etc. Visit the the Id Kah Mosque, which is the biggest mosque in Xinjiang.  If is is Sunday, you will visit Animal Bazaar that opens only on Sundays. Later, you will be transferred to Kashgar airport to catch 13-hour overnight train to Turpan.  Transport: Car/Taxi + Train Accommodation: Overnight on the hard sleeper train Meals: Breakfast

Turpan is a wonderful place to learn the history about the Silk Road by visiting the historical attractions. Today you will visit the ancient city of Gaochang and Jiaohe, Bezklik Grottoes, Karez Irrigation System in Turpan to learn the ancient civilization.
