Late in the afternoon on Day 1, our Tour Team in Kasane will physically visit you at your hotel/lodge in Kasane to make arrangements for the follwing day's travel to Livingstone. Request: Kindly provide us  in advance with the name and contact phone number of the lodge/hotel where you will staying at in Kasane or Kazungula. This will enable ou team know where to meet you from. Tour Briefing:  After a meet and greet session, you will be briefed by our Kasane based Tour Guide. You will be briefed on some pertinent facts such as personal safety, required eco-tour practices and some important country information and social etiquette. A copy of your insurance cover will also be uplifted fom you. See you tommorrow morning! You will part company with our team and remain with a well arranged plan of meeting for your journey to Zambia the following day.

Have an amazing trip to Livingstone, Zambia! On this day you will travel from Chobe in Botswana to Livingstone in Zambia. Program of day (2) 05:30 am – : Wake up and take your warm bath. Our tour team in Kasane Botswana will pick you up from the reception of your lodge/hotel in Kasane or Kazungula. 06:10 am: Travel from Kasane  to the Botswana - Zambia one-stop border, a distance of about 4 kms. At the border, you will be welcomed by the new Zambian tour crew with a hearty Zambian greeting: Mulibwanji: meaning "How are You" You should kindly answer back:  Bwino: meaning "I’m fine". Border Clearance Formalities You will present yourself before immigration and customs officers of both Zambia and Botswana at the one-stop border station located on Botswana soil. This will be for the sole purpose of processing your exit from Botswana and smooth entry into Zambia respectively.  Friendly advice: Please carry your passport with you and sufficient USD hard currencies to pay for any border fees. Otherwise if all your documentations are in order, you will smoothly exit Botswana and enter Zambia without any hassles.  Welcome to Zambia After all the immigration and customs formalities, you will now enter into Zambia, the country dubbed as the "Real Africa in the Sun".  Without wasting time, we will drive straight away to Livingstone on the M10 highway road. We  will cover a distance of about 72 kms driving through the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park before reaching  Livingstone city. Planned activities of the day in Livingstone -  11:00 am: Arrive in Livingstone  11:10 am – 11:30 am - Take your mid-morning light breakfast 11:30 am -  Thereafter breakfast, you will travel straight away to the Victoria Falls for that much anticipated wonderful Victoria waterfalls experience.  12:00 am – 14:00 am – After processing entry requirements at the main falls gate, you will finally enter  into the mighty Victoria Falls forest.  Depending on the season, we will hire rain coats for you so that you do not get wet when passing through the knive bridge from the  water sprays of the thundering water of the falls. You will hear the hissing sound of thundering water of the falls in a distance; indeed a life time  breathtaking experience awaits YOU! How you will do it: You will  take  one of the inner loops to commence viewing the magnificent Victoria Falls. This impressive waterfall reaches 108 meters in height and over 1,700 meters in width, making it one of the world's largest waterfalls. Visiting the Curio Market Thereafter the Victoria Falls tour, you will visit the local curios market situated just outside the entrance of the Victoria Falls.  You may buy  a souvenir to take back home. Please do not shy away from bargaining for the best price. Items on display include authentic African art, local crochet, Zambian hand-made textiles, wooden carvings, jewellery and many other small items.  14:20 pm – Travel back from the Victoria Falls to Livingstone city and take lunch at good restaurant;  Some of the restaurant you may patronize is the Heritage Site (on John Hunt Way) –  Heritage Site restaurant serves delicious traditional Zambian food. You will try out eating Nshima: Made from mealie meal, this is a maize porridge which is a staple food all across Zambia and the entire Africa. The relish normally served with  nshima includes protein dishes such as beef, chicken and fish and green leafy vegetables. •Olga’s Italian Corner: At this nicely located corner restaurant, you will enjoy a wonderful pizzeria.  Olga’s is in a true sense a social enterprise. All of the profits from the restaurant and the guest house are used to fund their Youth Community Training Center and CeLIM (an Italian NGO). Notes: So you will decide whether to eat mouthwatering Zambian traditional Food or delicious western foods. 14:30 pm – 15:00 pm – Visit and commence touring the Livingstone Museum. The Livingstone Museum is the largest and the oldest museum in Zambia, established in the 1934 as the David Livingstone Memorial Museum. Its original name the Rhodes–Livingstone Museum was changed to Livingstone Museum in 1966. Here you will tour the Livingstone Museum and learn more about its history. 15:30 pm – After touring the Livingstone Museum, you will go for a short Livingstone city tour. After exiting the museum, you will proceed to the Livingstone city centre. You will see the colonial buildings, many shops, banks, local market. This is an opportunity for you to visit the main post office (if it will be opened) and post nice Zambian postcards to your loved ones back home.   16:30 pm – Travel back to Botswana Kasane, heading straight through border Zambia/Botswana border control at Kazungula.
