After packing your essentials, youโ€™ll depart from Kathmandu around 6:00 AM and begin your journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Langtang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 


      Prepare to be captivated by panoramic views of towering snow-capped mountains, lush valleys, and winding rivers. As you journey deeper into the park, youโ€™ll pass by charming villages where life carries on in a tranquil, traditional way. Watch for Tibetan prayer flags fluttering in the wind and experience the authentic beauty of rural Nepal. 


      Around 1:00 PM, youโ€™ll arrive at the Rashuwagadhi border crossing, marking the boundary between Nepal and Tibet. Enjoy the unique experience of navigating through immigration and customs formalities, a pivotal moment in your adventure. After clearing immigration, youโ€™ll cross into Tibet and begin your drive to Kerung town, situated at an altitude of 2,700 meters. The landscape transforms into a dramatic world of high plateaus and rugged mountains, showcasing the raw power of the Himalayas. Arrive at Kerung town, a bustling frontier town that serves as a gateway to the Tibetan Plateau.       After a nourishing breakfast, youโ€™ll leave Darchen and drive to the "Valley of God," also known as Yamadwar, a revered spot at the foot of Mount Kailash. This sacred valley marks the beginning of the Kora, and youโ€™ll sense the mountainโ€™s powerful energy. 


      From Yamadwar, youโ€™ll begin the first leg of your Kora, a challenging but rewarding trek through breathtaking landscapes. Youโ€™ll walk approximately 18 kilometers, covering the rugged trails along the Lha Chu River for about 6-7 hours.

      The trail continues upwards, leading you to Shiva Tsal, a stunning valley nestled at the foot of Mount Kailash.  Here, youโ€™ll have the chance to witness the sheer power and majesty of the mountain, taking in its powerful presence.  


      As you continue, youโ€™ll reach the heart of the challenge: Drolma La Pass, standing at a lofty altitude of 5,634 meters.  This pass is considered the highest point on the Kailash Kora, and reaching it requires determination and physical endurance.  The climb will test your limits, but the views are worth every step.

      After a hearty breakfast in Kerung, youโ€™ll embark on a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, crossing the Tibet-Nepal border. The journey will take approximately 7-8 hours and will take you through breathtaking landscapes.  Youโ€™ll drive back through the Langtang National Park, offering one last glimpse of the towering snow-capped peaks and lush valleys. 


      The drive will take you to Syabrubensi, a charming village nestled at the foot of the Himalayas.  From here, youโ€™ll continue your journey to Kathmandu, arriving at your hotel in the late afternoon or early evening.


      As you arrive in Kathmandu, youโ€™ll be greeted by the vibrant energy of the city.  Take time to reflect on the unforgettable experiences youโ€™ve had during your journey, from the sacred waters of Lake Mansarovar to the majestic Mount Kailash.
